This image is a photographic composite, made from images shot on a Mavic 3 Drone over Whitsunday Island, off the coast of Queensland, Australia.
Over the course of a couple of days, I collected thousands of images via drone
as a library I could draw on.

In Photoshop, sections of these were then extracted layered over a reference image of a crocodile, to maintain photo-real proportions,
and then blended together.

The process took some ~35 hours to develop.
The work is named after Minja, the name locals of Mission River, QLD have given to a local crocodile that lives near a popular local fishing spot.
