Water Crisis Posters

WaterAid is an international non-profit organization that transforms lives by providing access to safe water, hygiene and sanitation in the world’s poorest countries. The issue of water scarcity is one that is not widely understood. However, the reality is that nearly one billion people live without access to clean drinking water. This problem is widespread and is especially serious in the developing nations of Africa, Southeast Asia and Latin America. By 2025, an estimated two-thirds of the world will be living under conditions of water scarcity. This poster series is aimed at breaking down the basics of the issue into comprehensive pieces in order to communicate the severity of the crisis.

The overall call to action of the poster series is to urge people to visit the WaterAid website in order to donate. Sometimes we can feel powerless in worldwide struggles like the water crisis, but donating to a charity like WaterAid is a simple way to contribute to the solution of this problem.

To make the campaign as far-reaching as possible, I have also designed pins using the key elements of the posters, and a t-shirt that gets to the heart of the issue. All designed materials direct people to the WaterAid website.
