Every Thursday, Billboard is featuring the best of Generation X with exclusive style Q+As and beauty tips, band performances, artist livestreams, year-by-year playlists on the Billboard Spotify account and much more. This week, we're taking some serious style cues from the boy band to rule all '90s boy bands, *NSYNC. While it's hilarious to think about now, the ultra Gen X foursome had some serious swagger back in the day, and the following five looks are all absurdly wonderful styles we'd be happy to copy (or at least pull inspiration from) in 2016.

The “Canadian Tuxedo” Look
Image Credit: Photofest While we wouldn't recommend copying anything from Joey Fatone's look — tear-away pants should never, ever make a comeback — we're kind of digging the oversize baby-blue crewneck JT's rocking and Lance Bass' chambray button-down paired with dark-wash jeans.

The “Pumpkin Spice Latte” Look
Image Credit: Courtesy Photo Why, why are matching turtlenecks in music videos not a thing anymore?! Current generation disappointment aside, this is one of our favorite looks. JC Chasez's tight, camel-colored sweater would look awesome with this season's cropped flares or a pair of boyfriend jeans, and Justin's multicolored piece is perfect for winter — while you're holding a grande PSL.

The “Futuristic” Look
Image Credit: Jeff Kravitz/FilmMagic We are so happy people didn't actually start dressing like this in the new millennium. The shiny, treated leather is definitely a "look," and no one should ever wear a jumpsuit like the one Justin's boldly rocking. But the saturated colors are on point. We particularly love JC's midnight blue (it would look awesome in a pant) and Chris Kirkpatrick's gunmetal gray.

The “Geometric Firefighter” Look
Image Credit: Peter Brooker/REX/Shutterstock All right, we're not sure what the boys were thinking during this 1999 Billboard photo shoot either. But looking at the collective style from a trend perspective, the bold, geometric stripes are a super cool take on the classic nautical stripe.

*N SYNC
Image Credit: Frank Micelotta/ImageDirect These calf-length velvet coats during their 2000 performance will go down in Billboard Music Awards history. But please try to tell us that you do not want those dip-dyed white flares. We call dibs on JT's blue pair.
