Charming accessories brand Stoney Clover Lane has teamed with sports gear retailer ’47 on a vintage-inspired collection of team merch, including this felt SF 49ers cap with chenille block lettering.

The 49ers’ 11-player draft class is slotted to cost $9.3 million against the 2023 cap, but that’s the overall price tag — and it’s not as relevant when it comes to offseason building.

That $58.7 million number would put the 49ers at fifth in effective cap space, while the $74.28 million “max” number would put them fourth.

The 49ers’ 11 selections in the 2024 NFL Draft are projected to cost them just $3.3 million during the offseason, when only a team’s top 51 cap hits count until the roster cutdown in late August.

So the 49ers have more than $46 million in salary cap -- second most in the NFL -- and they're not using it. At least not yet. Meanwhile, as many as five rookies are expected to start on defense.
