From the moment it hit showrooms as the Mk5 Golf in 2005, the reborn Golf GTI has been a bit of a cult car. And by the time the Mk7 was launched here in early 2013, the GTI was really riding high.

As a result, the modified Golf GTI TCR is able to do 0-100 km/h in 5.1 seconds and complete an intermediate sprint from 70 to 130 km/h (43-81 mph) in just 4.0 seconds.
