Bracket clocks are, as the name suggests, those fixed to a bracket on a wall. Recent projects have included a Fusee, British-made and more than 100 years old.

In the mid-1990s I came across a book entitled British Clocks which, bizarrely, had a cover illustration of an Irish, early 18th century bracket clock made by Crampton of Dublin.

Lot 240, an antique brass-mounted Triple Fusee Bracket clock which would have once been in a large period house in Ireland, also attracted interest with bids starting at €1000.
