Retro PC game emulator UTM SE is now on the App Store. This is the first time Apple has let a PC emulator be in its marketplace. The UTE SE app is available for free on iOS, iPadOS, and visionOS.

Previously, Apple has allowed game streaming apps, but only on a per-title basis. The big change here is allowance for a single app offering a library of games to stream.

In a statement posted to X, this was due to rule 4.7 in the App Store guidelines, which applies to other apps such as Delta — Game Emulator that emulate consoles for playing video games.
