The boots were sold from September 2024 until January 2025. Customers are advised to stop using the boots and contact The North Face for further instructions.

The North Face says the hook of one boot can catch on the lace of the other boot, causing a person to fall. So far, the company has received 28 reports of this happening, leading to 15 injuries.
