ALAMOSA, Colo. (CBS4) - The blue tongue virus is connected to some deer deaths in Alamosa. Colorado Parks and Wildlife said the disease was discovered in at least two dead mule deer.
The disease can be caused by epizootic hemorrhagic disease (EHD) or blue tongue virus — both of which have been detected in South Dakota this year, according to GFP officials.
