The DJI Pocket 2 features the same three-axis gimbal camera you find on DJI's line of prosumer drones. As such, you can expect high-quality, super-smooth videography from a tiny hand-held device.
The most substantial improvement DJI has made to the Pocket 2 gimbal is the enlargement of the sensor, going from a 1/2.3-inch to 1/1.7-inch.
The DJI Pocket 2 will start at $349, the same price as the 2018 version. There will also be a “Creator Combo” for $499 that will come with a whole bunch of useful accessories.
That’s $90 more than the black DJI Pocket 2, which for $349 gets you the same accessories except for a sling strap. With that in mind, the black Pocket 2 is clearly better value.
