It appears Deftones have something new coming. At a performance in London last week, they teased something called “ Private Music,” along with what seemed to be a release date of July 10.

That’s very true of “my mind is a mountain,” the first single and opening track of private music, the first Deftones album in five years (following 2020’s also-great Ohms).
