VIM Technologies, a leading innovator in digital plate technology, is launching a new CTP system at PRINT 09 that images VIM polyester and aluminum plates on a standard Epson inkjet printer.

Mitsubishi will own 51 percent of the venture, while the remainder will be held by Okamoto. The companies expect demand for CTP systems to further expand as digital technology spreads.
