Trick and treat. Fanta is meddling in the dark arts this Halloween, horrifying thirsty hellraisers with a creepy new mystery soda flavor — one that turns tongues black.

If you want to taste this mystery drink out for yourself, then it will be available now through February 2023 across 20-oz. bottles, Coca-Cola Freestyle fountain dispensers, and frozen formulations.

Fanta is the second-highest selling soda in most of Africa, trailing only Coca-Cola. Europeans and Latin Americans love the stuff, too. In the United States, it’s in eighth place.
