The HP Chromebook x2 11 is expected to be available at the beginning of August at Best Buy for a starting price of $599. It is expected to be available on HP.com in October.

Although the Chromebook 11’s 1366-by-768 resolution is nothing special, Google and HP used an IPS panel that looks vibrant from any angle, with only a tiny bit of wash-out at the extremes.

An initial look at the HP Chromebook 11 leaves us impressed by the device's potential. It's just so cheap that there is much more of a margin for forgiveness than with the Pixel.

But, unlike the prior model, this 11-inch HP Chromebook X2 comes stacked with Snapdragon instead of Intel. And it’s the industry’s first to sport the Snapdragon 7c compute platform.

In addition to 4G LTE Cat 12 connectivity, the Chromebook supports WiFi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0. The HP Fortis 11 G9 Q has a body that measures 11.6″ x 8.1″ x 0.8″ and which weighs about 3 pounds.
