The Harris’s hawk, a bird usually native to Brazil, Argentina and Chile, has caused havoc in the historic parish village of Flamstead, swooping down and attacking tall men over the past month.
The hawk is still roaming the skies above Flamstead as of this week (March 28). The Independent Bird Registry has suggested that the bird could be trying to mate, explaining the attacks on men.
