Entertainment ‘No easy feat’: Staten Island high school dance team captures national hip hop crown for 2nd year in a row Published: May. 04, 2025, 12:00 p.m.

They’ve won numerous state championships, and even represented Team USA last year at the World Hip Hop Dance Championship, where they were the only U.S. team to advance to semifinals.

Pasco Washington High School Dance Team named hip-hop champions at the 2025 Dance Team Union National Championship in Orlando, Florida.

The Dance Team Union national championships are held in early February in Orlando. The competition includes numerous dance categories, including hip-hop, jazz, pom dancing, open categories and more.
