MOODY, Texas (KWTX) - May 27 will mark 28 years since an F-5 tornado blew through the town of Jarrell, Texas, killing 27 people in the 20 minutes it caused devastation on the ground.

It's been about a year and a half since the Jarrell Fire Department lost one of their own. The Texas Stars hockey team helped the fire department raise money to honor him.
