Julie Ann Hanson. Credit : Naperville Police Department Authorities have arrested a 76-year-old man on murder charges nearly 50 years after a 15-year-old Illinois girl was found dead in a field.

Police said 15-year-old Julie Ann Hanson was found in a cornfield near 87th Street and Modaff Road in July 1972. She was stabbed 36 times.
