Reports had suggested that Liverpool’s new deal with adidas would be worth double. However, according to The Athletic, while the “figures remain confidential”, the Reds are set to earn far more than the reported £60 million ($79.4 million) total, with overall sums depending on team performance and general sales.

Liverpool’s Chief Commercial Officer, Ben Latty said: “This is more than just the launch of a new kit – it marks the beginning of a 10-year relationship for LFC and adidas. Since announcing the partnership in March, there’s been a huge sense of anticipation and excitement. This first collection sets the tone for seasons to come.”

Liverpool have unveiled their new home and away kits for the new season as they collaborate with adidas for the first time in 13 years. As is tradition, the home colours are red from top to toe, said to present “the club’s DNA in its purest form” with a dark strawberry red colourway and the classic Liver Bird crest.
