Music, family fun and ships will fill the streets of Port Colborne this weekend for the 47th Annual Canal Days Marine Heritage Festival.
Hundreds of people filled Port Huron's downtown to celebrate on the last night of Boat Night Friday. Tents lined Huron Avenue as residents bought drinks, played games and listened to music.
It was all part of Blue Water Fest's Family Night, a night of Boat Week to host family-friendly activities in the leadup to the Port Huron-to-Mackinac Island Sailboat Race.
The Port of Virginia manages six terminals, including the Richmond Marine Terminal. Cargo is moved from Portsmouth by barge to Richmond’s inland terminal about three times a week, Harris said.
