LA CROSSE (WKBT) -- Oktoberfest USA has officially announced that the 2025 button design contest is open. The contest is a tradition that dates back to the start of the festival in 1961.

Breunig has become an Oktoberfest fan since moving here 10 years ago to attend Viterbo University, where he obtained a bachelor’s in visual communication, with an emphasis on graphic design.

La Crosse Festivals Inc. is conducting a button design contest for its 61st annual Oktoberfest celebration which will take place Sept. 29 to Oct. 1.

The 2023/24 design offered a completely fresh look, unlike anything else on the market. It's patterning appealed to fans both male and female - uniting all sides of the fanbase.
