The original PS4, to that end, is a nice in-between for the two. It’s far meatier than the slim — it’s 2.8 kilograms, or 6 pounds — and not too much lighter than the Pro.

The “Slim” model depicted here appears to merely be an eco-conscious redesign meant to offer a smaller alternative to the existing PS4 model, though that is currently unconfirmed.

Sony is expected to debut a new version of the console on September 7th, codenamed Neo. It’s not clear if this is the 4K PS4 version, or if it’s simply a slim update to the existing model.
