Open the Paint application and import the image you want to edit. In the Microsoft Paint app on Windows 11, with an image loaded, find the "Remove Background" option in the Command bar.

Here you will have to select the background color for the image i.e. Color 2 here. For e.g. if your background color is white, you will need to set ‘color 2 ’ to a similar shade of white here.

The background removal tool is available to Windows Insiders in the Canary and Dev distribution channels, running version 1.2306.30.0 of the Paint app.
