The TVS Apache RTR 180 BS6 is built on a double cradle Synchro-Stiff chassis with telescopic fork up front and twin gas-charged shock absorbers at the rear.
Amongst the two motorcycles, the new Honda Hornet 2.0 is the newer product, costing Rs 1.39 lakh ex-showroom, while the tried and tested TVS Apache RTR 180 costs Rs 1.32 lakh ex-showroom.
The Apache RTR 180 BS6 continues to use the same telescopic fork and twin gas-charged shock absorber setup. Braking is via the same 270mm petal disc and 200mm petal disc with single-channel ABS.
The 2022 Apache RTR 160 is priced between ₹1,17,790 and ₹1,24,590, while the new RTR 180 comes in a single variant that costs ₹1,30,590 (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi).
