Rocksteady Studios is reportedly working on a new Batman game. Sony is supposedly attempting to "moneyhat" the project, suggesting the title could be a PlayStation exclusive.

The reported Rocksteady Batman project is little more than a whisper at this point, with the studio simply saying they hope to return to a single-player game in the Batman universe.

The game was originally released August 25, 2009 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and Rocksteady Studios and Warner Bros. went out of their way to sell it as definitive for Batman in the medium.

Luckily for Rocksteady, this new Batman game wasn’t given to a studio outside of the WB Games umbrella. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League did not meet its sales expectations leading Warner ...

But according to one early scene in the game, Rocksteady still doesn't consider WB Montreal's Batman: Arkham Origins to be part of that story universe.
