Shield AI, one of the handful of defense tech unicorns with touted multibillion-dollar valuations, has fetched $240 million in F-1 capital from investors to further iterate its software offerings.

The round brings Shield AI’s total outside funding to $1.3 billion. Shield AI’s flagship product is Hivemind Enterprise, a platform designed to power autonomous defense systems such as drones.
