There were two excellent yet very different kaiju movies released in 2024, and while Godzilla x Kong might have attracted the most attention, Netflix's Ultraman: Rising was arguably even better.

Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment announced the Kaiju No. 8: Mission Recon North American release date, revealing when the anime movie would arrive on U.S. and Canadian screens.

Kaiju No. 8 ‘s recap movie and “Hoshina’s Day Off” OVA releases in Japanese theaters on March 28th. The US release date has not yet been revealed.

Kaiju diehards will know it well, as the movie spawned two sequels, Return of Daimajin and Wrath of Daimajin, and a 2010 TV series titled Daimajin Kanon.
