Just like the Danner Revolving Bookcase, these Rotary Bookcases were available in a variety of sizes. Bookcase 73s4 (below, bottom) consisted of a total of nine shelves.

In the summer of 1942, to protect Anne Frank and others in hiding, Johan Voskuijl constructed a revolving bookcase to conceal the entrance to the Secret Annex at 263 Prinsengracht.
