A small superficial skin abrasion was noted above the left eyebrow. There was mild tenderness on palpation of the midback but no other evidence of trauma. The remainder of the examination was normal.

For superficial skin cancers, Mohs surgery can be a definitive procedure, but nonsurgical approaches are competitive in the context of practical considerations, such as patient preferences and costs.
