At a TEDx event, TED Talks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.

Murrieta will get its first TEDx event next week. The topic of TEDxMurrieta, set for Wednesday, Feb. 5, will be “Healing in the 21st Century,” a news release states.

The first-ever TEDx SUNY Cortland event will be held Thursday, May 4 in Old Main Brown Auditorium, featuring 10 speakers from across the United States, including three SUNY Cortland faculty members.
