Workers are at the 48th St. floor of the 52-story building. At 749 feet, Prudential was the tallest building in Boston, until it was surpassed by the John Hancock Tower in 1976 (now 200 Clarendon).

"View Boston," which occupies the top three floors of the Prudential Tower, is scheduled to open to the public on June 15, but reporters got a first look at the new space on Tuesday.
