In all, color experts estimate there are about 300 shades of green in nature. A leaf’s age, shape, health, location and other factors help determine its greenness.

It was created by design studio Special Offer Inc., who spent months discussing the shade, eventually selecting Brat green from around 500 options, according to founder Brent David Freaney.
