Nineteen amphorae were found, and three of them are visible in the exhibit. One has been broken, while the other two are still sealed with their coins intact.

The ancient shipwreck is remarkably well preserved and contains more than 300 amphorae that were being used to transport a cargo of fish sauce, olive oil and wine from the Spanish mainland.

The expedition to the Antikythera shipwreck, which is located in the Aegean Sea off of Greece, was announced in a press release published by the Swiss School of Archaeology in Greece (ESAG) on Monday.
