Minecraft’s trademark is its unrestricted freedom and interactivity, yet Story Mode Episode 1 only contains a couple true puzzles. Those that are here really work, though.

Episode 1, The Order of the Stone, is now completely free on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, iOS, and Android.

Episode 1 will arrive on iOS and Android via the App Store, Google Play and the Amazon App Store, respectively, October 15. The series will also be coming to Wii U and PlayStation Vita.

You will however need to own Minecraft: Story Mode Episode 1 in order to play it. Interestingly, the new episode has a bunch of new cast members that may be familiar to the YouTube community.
