Nov 5, 2006 · I hand wash my Burberry scarves in the sink using only eucalan (special no rinse detergent designed specifically for wools and hand knits- available at amazon and knitting stores). My wool blend one responded better to the hand washing then my cashmere one. Cashmere is a very delicate fabric that pills easily.

Oct 3, 2023 · Burberry has a rain proof coating on their trenches which eventually wears away and needs reproofing. I have never reproofed my Burberry trenches and I have washed the beige one a few times. I never dunked my entire trench in water - just spot cleaning the dirty areas.

May 6, 2008 · The M seems too long-waisted and is pretty shapeless in the back though the front fits better. It could work with layers underneath but that’s not what I need it for. I had the cheaper version Burberry Brit years ago in fuchsia and the XS fit perfectly and I’ve always weighed the same - disappointed in the sizing now.

Nov 8, 2011 · They're both leather and fantastic quality (one of them is a Christopher Bailey design). I'm sure the coated canvas bags are equally excellent quality. Just think LV. I know Burberry gets less attention than Mulberry in the UK, but I wouldn't let that bother me. Burberry is a great label with a long history of high quality.

Jul 5, 2007 · I used to love Burberry - a great British brand standing for heritage, tradition and style with a modern twist. But since the re-branding mistakes and the big aggressive logos (TB/BURBERRY) and sustainability scandals (overproduction and burning of products) Burberry just stands for bad design, aggressive marketing and lack of ethics.
