Jen Malone Emily!!!!! This totally made my day/week/month- thank you! I never say never, but at the moment there are no plans for a sequel or short story (though fan fiction encouraged if you have your own thoughts for what Aubree and Sam are up to). However, I do have a new book coming out next month, called THE ARRIVAL OF SOMEDAY and I hope you might like Amelia just as much as Aubree. (Sidenote: I definitely believe Elizabeth got all charges cleared and took her own sweet revenge on that jerk cop!) Thanks again for reaching out!
Jen Malone Hi Daniela, Thanks so much for reading Wanderlost- I'm so glad you liked it!!! Elizabeth manages to charm Sam's mom with her heartfelt apology and her impressive binder skills (which she offers to share), so all is forgiven and she gets her letter of recommendation. Happy endings for all! xoxo
Jen Malone Oh gosh, thank you so much for reading and for reaching out! I have a special place in my heart for Grannie too:)

At the moment I don't have plans for a sequel but I try to never say never. I like to imagine the two of them hanging on a movie set somewhere exotic, just waiting...
Jen Malone I'd have to go with Clare and Henry from THE TIME TRAVELER'S WIFE. I just love how their relationship spans their lives in such different ways (he was a part of her life from childhood, but the reverse isn't true for him) and how their feelings for each other change (both for the better AND for the worse) at different stages in their lives. I'm basically obsessed with their non-linear love affair- let's leave it at that.
Jen Malone Great question (and thanks for asking)! I don't know that I'm nearly interesting enough to merit an autobiography, but I definitely will continue to mine my own travel experiences as inspiration for my novels. The Sound of Music chapter in Wanderlost definitely came from my own experiences and I'd love to write something about my trip to Nepal and other favorite countries, like Australia and New Zealand. As for writing about how I met my husband, I have a YA novel on the back burner that does focus on unusual "meet cutes," but the problem with mine and my husband's is that it is so far-fetched, I'm not sure it isn't "too unbelievable for fiction!" I'm not ruling anything out though... :)
Jen Malone Hiiiiiiii. Gah--I'm so happy you loved Wanderlost (and Sam and Aubree!)! I don't have immediate plans for a sequel, but I'm definitely giving serious consideration to checking back in on those two in the form of a short story or bonus scene. I have a soft spot for the whole crew and I'd love to spend more time with them... once I've met my other book deadlines. In the meantime, I've just sent a whole new couple (Case and Jonah) off to my editor and I hope you love them equally when Changes in Latitudes comes out next summer. Thanks so much for taking the time to read and (most especially) to share your thoughts with me. You brightened my day!
Jen Malone Hi Zoe! Thanks so much for reading and for reaching out. While I don't have any official plans for a Sleepover sequel, I can definitely envision some further adventures for Veronica, Meghan, Paige and Anna Marie... so I'll never say never:) I'm so glad you enjoyed the first installment!!!
Jen Malone Hi Nadine, I'm so happy to hear that you liked Wanderlost (thanks for reading!) and that the Dutch descriptions held up from a local's perspective! You hope and you research, but you never quite know for sure... so it's great to hear they passed muster!!! As for Mr. Fenton's first name, well, that IS the great mystery isn't it? *wink*
Jen Malone Heeey, I happen to love this question that's not a question!! Thank you so much for taking the time to share your reaction to Wanderlost with me. You totally made my day!

Jen Malone Thanks for the question, Lang. Nepal was my favorite of the 45 countries I visited on my trip around the world, mostly because the people were so incredibly warm and friendly. I was there during wedding season, which meant New Orleans style jazz processions marching down the street at all hours of the day and night- I loved it!! And don't get me started on the beauty of the mountains as a backdrop. My heart goes out to everyone there this month with the multiple earthquakes. I hope they find peace and health in the aftermath.
Jen Malone HI Lindsey! Thanks so much for your question and for reading At Your Service. I'm crossing fingers and toes that I'll get to write more about Chloe and the St. Michele- my editor and I are tossing around some fun ideas for a sequel now and if all goes well, there will be more Chloe adventures to come...
