Born and raised in Oklahoma, Tara Hudson graduated with a degree in law, mostly because she believed all the horror stories about English majors and their careers in the food-service industry. Luckily, she soon remembered how much she loved telling ghost stories, particularly to her girlfriends who liked visiting abandoned cemeteries as much as she did. Tara currently lives in Oklahoma with her husband, son, and a menagerie of ill-behaved pets.

When I am reading your books, I can't help but hope that Hereafter, Arise, and Elegy will have a movie made after them! That would be amazing.

Hey tara thanks for acceptig my friend request! Hereafter was amazing and joshua was the sweetest guy in a book i have ever read before. I totally want my own! I cant wait to read arise! Might take me awhile because i have like 50 other books i need to read buttt it might just get on to the top of my reading list if i find it at my school!
One question theres not going to EVER be a love triangle is there? I HATE when authors do that especially if the main couple is perfect for eachother.
Also i could really feel for amelia and if i was in that situation i dont think i could handel that!
Again thank you that book was amazing one of the best ghost books ive read in a looonnngg time!

Tara, you are absolutely AMAZING. Not only are you a best selling author, but a Lawyer too!? I think someone put some extra awesome in your awesome sauce! Anyways. I got Hereafter, about 2 weeks ago, finished reading the current book I was on and started to read it. Let me tell you, I couldn't and WOULDN'T put it down! I finished it yesterday, and immediately went out and bought Arise! I just started reading it and I'm completely captivated by your story telling!!! I cant wait to see how it all plays out in Elegy. Waiting a year will be such an impossible task! Forever a fan, -Bethany

I just finished Hereafter yesterday and i loved it so much and i am so excited for the next one to come out. The only downside is that it won't be out till next year :( but i'm sure it'll be worth the wait :D
