Whew! This was one angsty read! I wasn’t sure if this couple would ever get beyond the issues that separated them and yet at the heart of it all is their love for one another.

Through the previous books we’ve had glimpses of Claire and Forrest so I was more than ready for this one. Forrest has been my favorite from the beginning. He’s strong and solid, loyal and kind and he was never one to play loose with the ladies. I respected the heck out of him from the first. But years ago his heart was broken and as time passed he’s had to carry on as though it never happened. Now his whole life is imploding and I personally wasn’t sure if Claire was a help or a hindrance to his growth and healing when things began to fall apart.

While Claire had her own issues, I never really felt the same sense of despair for her. She had essentially made her bed and this is the life she was left with. I did understand the fact that she was so very young and forgave her for it but what was left was her having to do the chasing, something I’m not a huge fan of. That aside, the very nature of her career was going to leave Forrest heartbroken…again. As I said…angsty.

Overall, this was a beautifully written story that I enjoyed even as I ached for these characters. The epilogue helped me get past the pain in some regard but I really wanted to see more of this couple in a full healthy relationship. Here’s hoping we might get something more of them in the future.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Claire had quite a few things that made her different from the people she grew up with. Claire is the biracial daughter of the housekeeper for Jason's wealthy parents. Although Claire isn't a part of the family she found a supportive and caring father figure in the form of Jason's father. Being the daughter of the housekeeper while growing up never made her feel less than or neglected in her circle of friends. Claire formed real and lasting friendships with Jason, Adam, Blake, and Forrest despite being the only girl in the group. They all considered her a little sister and treated her with affection and protection. However, for Claire, Forrest also becomes the man that she gives her heart to whether he is willing to accept it or not. After years of waiting and wanting Claire and Forrest finally have an opportunity to find some happiness together. An overheard conversation, insecurities, and a misplaced desire to not hold the person you love ruins it all. Claire feels that maybe she isn't deserving of Forrest's affections despite what he has told and shown her. With all of her issues in mind Claire is determined to prove herself.

Forrest grew into the kind of man who knew his place in the world, how he fits into it, and is happy, for the most part, with his life. The one person that he tried not to love then waited for broke his heart. He manages to remain a good man and continues on with his life despite missing the piece that was torn from him when Claire left. Forrest is blindsided when betrayal and lies turn his world upside down.

TATTOOED HEARTS is hands down my favorite book in the MARTHA'S WAY series. Jolie has managed to bring an even greater sense of emotional connection and sense of fated love with Forrest and Claire. That is saying a lot considering books 1 and 2 featured couples whom I very much felt were destined for each other. TATTOOED HEARTS is yet another enjoyable and well written contemporary romance by Mika Jolie that I am sure to revisit again and again. If you are looking for well written contemporary romances with the added bonus of diversity in both character and personalities then the MARTHA'S WAYS SERIES is definitely one to dive into. Although this is a series each book is a complete story focusing solely on an individual couple and can be read as a standalone and out of order which how I read them.

In a span of twenty-four hours, Claire Peters was jarred out of her childhood and into adulthood in the arms of the only man she had ever loved to overhearing a conversation that sent her running, just when she needed Forrest most. All her eighteen-year-old heart heard was she wasn’t good enough for the handsome rich boy, after all, she was only a housekeeper’s daughter, so she ran, to hide the hurt, the nightmares her mind conjured and to make something, someone of herself, so she would be good enough. Time went by, ten painful years of loneliness, for both of the, Forrest with no explanation, no word and Claire, unable to face what she had done.

Now a top singing sensation, a budding actress and even a designer, she has returned seeking closure or happiness in Forrest’s arms. Little did she know she had returned just when he needed her most, but was it to purge his anger, pain and feelings of betrayal? For Forrest, Claire would be whatever he needed at the moment, but her heart wanted more, the one thing Forrest said he could no longer give her. Has she burned her bridges or have the mountains of grief and lies that are currently bombarding Forrest standing in his heart’s way? They promised to love for infinity, and for Claire it has always been true, but time doesn’t always wait for those who had it all and weren’t brave enough to hang on tight. Has infinity just become a finite number?

Thank you, Mika Jolie, I needed my heart wrung out today, I had too many tissues lying around waiting to be used and I needed to picture two hearts being run through a shredder, sometimes self-inflicted, sometimes from outside sources. Tattooed hearts is what romance and second chances are all about. This may be Ms. Jolie’s best of the series as she weaves two shattered people in and out of each others lives until there is no beginning and no end to either of them. She has painted true emotion into each page, laid her characters bare and carved out their very souls as she pours their tormented feelings onto each page. Even their intimate moments are powerful, deep and boiling over with heart.

Bringing back characters from previous books is like opening the window to fresh air and sunshine with light-hearted moments, natural behavior and gestures between close friends. Do hang on to those tissues and you might even want sit on your hands so you don’t smack some sense into these two. But in the end, she lets Forrest and Claire decide their future, the way two once best friends should do, without our help!

Mika Jolie did it again!
She won my heart with a story featuring Clarie and Forrest. They love one another, but they try to avoid this topic due to their past.
I was shattered by Clarie past - especially one event that made her leave Forrest when she was only 18 years old. But now she's back, will she be able to fight for her future with Forres or will she run away once again?
We get to know also some past secret, what will happen when everyone learns the truth about they origin? Emotion roller-coaster!

The first 2 books in this series were great from beginning to end while reading Tattooed Hearts the 3rd book I was wandering what happened and then the book started to come together. The only thing I was disappointed in I didn't feel the closeness of the characters as I did in the other books! With that said I look forward to more books by Ms.. Joliet.

Tattooed Hearts is potent. So much so there are moments where you almost forget to breathe or your heart beats so fast it threatens to leap right out of your chest. Forest and Claire are one heartache shy of giving up. Secrets and lies, emotional revelations and unpredictable romance lay the groundwork for an unforgettable second chance story. Jolie digs deep into the soul of her characters and finds the beauty in the pain. A talent that has her stories at the top of my must read list.

Sweet

From the previous books I thought it was Forrest who was in love with/chasing Claire but this book shows what really happened and how they’ve always loved each other and tried to both fight their feelings. Another good read in the Martha’s way series

Tattooed Hearts, by Mika Jolie, is the third installment in her Martha’s Way Series. Starting with The Scale, Minka and Jason’s book, continuing with Need You Now, Lily and Adam’s story to this installment about Claire and Forrest; this series has kept me captivated.

This book was so riveting to me that I read it in one sitting. Forrest and Claire have been wolf pack characters with Jason, Adam and Blake since the first book. Each book gave a hint that there was much more to the relationship between these two friends.

Tattooed Hearts begins with a tragedy and continues down a path of intrigue that actually started in book one. When I read a series I always want the books to be interconnected. I prefer that series keep a flow of characters and story lines that are connected rather than be stand-alone books that can be read outside the series. What was most touching in this book was the struggle Forrest and Claire went through to finally find the love and peace they had up until her 18th birthday.

At eighteen Claire allowed her insecurities of being the daughter of a housekeeper hanging out with the children of millionaires to shadow her understanding that she too was worthy of love and happiness. One overheard conversation had her fleeing from the man she loved and her home. Fate brought these two back together at a time in Forrest’s life that he himself was dealing with death and a lifetime of secrets. The main difference is that now Claire is a star in her chosen field and now feels she has proven herself worthy.

Ms. Jolie has spun a world, in a very real location, that has the reader wishing to spend vacations on Martha’s Vineyard. I can’t wait to see the next installment since the author has now also included the mature parents in the falling in love game.

Claire Peters has finally made it. She's at the top of her game with her singing career, and her acting career is about to take off. When she ran away from home 10 years ago leaving those she cared about behind, she swore that she would prove to them she was worthy of being a part of their world. But something or someone is still missing and it's time for her to figure out what she really wants out of life. Dr. Forrest Desvareaux didn't think that anything could hurt as much as the day Claire left, but he was wrong. When he loses his father unexpectedly his world is rocked to the core. Secrets are revealed and Forrest feels betrayed by the people who were supposed to love and protect him. On top of all that, Claire shows up declaring her undying love for him and wanting to be a part of his life. With everything falling apart around him can he trust Claire to be the shoulder he needs to lean on, or will she run when things get rough like she did in the past?
This was my first story by this author so I definitely need to go back and read book 1 and 2 of this series. If Tattooed Hearts is any indication, I look forward to reading them because I really enjoyed Claire and Forrest's story. I think my favorite part of this story was Forrest. He may not come off as the alpha macho type but in dealing with Claire he proved he knew when to be tough and when to be sensitive. Claire I think had to find herself and love herself before she could even consider being in a serious relationship. I loved the back and forth between Claire and Forrest, they seemed to be the perfect fit for each other. This story just proved when somethings meant to be, not time nor distance can stop fate from having it's way.

The first word out of my mouth when I saw who the main characters in Tattooed Heart was FINALLY!!!
Claire Peters is back in Martha's Vineyard, she has made it to the pinnacle of her career, but yet she left behind the one person that meant the most to her! Why did she leave? It was because she never felt worthy of his love.
Dr. Forrest Desvareaux loved Claire with all his heart and 10 years ago, when she left him, it hardened him and his heart. But now she is back on the island and he tries to keep away, even though he wants to know why she left him all those years ago. But when she keeps showing up, the heat explodes between them and self-preservation blows out the window.
But then other lies are exposed and it brings back Forrest distrust of Claire and he banishes her from his life again, but this time Claire doesn't run, even though Forrest expects her too! And you are left wondering if Forrest will move past hurts of the past or cling to them like a life line.
Yet another amazing interracial love story by the extremely talented Mika Jolie. As I have said before, I have been waiting for Claire and Forrest's book from the very beginning and I have to say that I am not disappointed in the slightest! Though I will say, Tattooed Hearts brings both joy and sadness. Joy, because it is such a beautiful book, but sadness, because this is the end of the series.
But let’s get down to the basics shall we! The writing is flawless, the plot is great and the characters are simply perfect! Once I picked up this book, I honestly couldn't put it down. It brought out a wide arrange of emotions in me and I truly love it.
I give Tattooed Heart a well-deserved 10 out of 10.

This was an amazing read. One surprise after another. A story about love trust secrets and betrayal.

We get to meet Forrest and Claire, who grew up in Martha's Vineyard together, had a connection and fell in love when
they were only teenagers. At age 15 Claire knew that she wanted Forrest and did everything she could to get his
attention. Forrest who was a bit older felt that Claire was just too young to know about love but she was determine.
She came up with a few schemes that had me tearing up one minute then chuckling and laughing out loud
another minute. Eventually Forrest gave in and they connected but something happened that Claire couldn't deal with, so she
ran off leaving Forrest behind.

Years later she's back. She was still in love with Forrest trying to gain his forgiveness and his trust. They were
both an emotional mess. Forrest having to deal with a tragedy, Clair and secrets from the past, didn't always listen to
reasons. He struggles and she wanted to be there for him but she had a hard time convincing him to accept her help.

This was a sexy and hot, emotional story with a lovable hero and heroine and a close and supportive group
of friends. I wanted to see their happy ending but the surprises kept coming so did the drama. This is Book 3 in the Martha's Way Series. It is just as good as the first 2. Mika did a great job with these characters. I can't wait to see what she has in store for us. All in all this was one awesome read one that I would highly recommend.

Received a copy in exchange for an honest review

“Dropping his head to her neck, his mouth blazed a path over her throat and collarbone. She tilted her waist so that his erection pressed right against her core. Forrest let out a low groan and rubbed his jaw to hers before finding his way to her breasts. In the next moment he was inside her, sliding in and out and making her want to weep with ecstasy.”

Four stars! I enjoyed this series from book one! Each book was such a joy and this one was no different. I loved the characters and the stories.

Ten years ago Claire Peters left Martha’s Vineyard to chase her dreams and to make a better life for herself. And while she has an amazing career on the radio, she is missing something. The man she left years ago. Forrest’s life has just crumbled down and he’s shattered. The good doctor realizes everyone and everything around him is a lie. Will he turn back into the arms of Claire? Will they reconcile?? I really loved this story it was beautiful and the series again was so much fun to read.

This is a Beautifully written heart wrenching love story. Claire and Forrest love story begins when she is 15 and he 18; Forrest is leaving for college and she was practically the sister of his best friend Jason. They were all friends called themselves the wolf pack. Forrest tells Claire she needs to forget about him and concentrate on her crush, and she reveals to him that he is her crush, her one and only. Two years move forward Forrest comes back home and tells Claire that when she turns 18 they will be together and that she is his one and only. Well, Claire overhears something cruel said by grown ups how she is not good enough for Forrest, and she runs away. Fast forward they are two successful but broken people, her BFF lily is the only one that knows why Claire left 10 years ago without a word to any one. Can Claire and Forrest find their way back to each other and the love that they shared. I suggest you put Tattooed Hearts on you TBR list. Thank you Mika Jolie for sharing this wonderful story.

This one is a tearjerker! From beginning to end, Claire and Forrest's love story is an emotional one. Claire broke his heart and he does not make it easy for her to get it back. They have really good chemistry and lots of love. A great contemporary second chance / friends-to-lovers romance. Can be read as a standalone, but since couples from previous books make an appearance, it would be great to know their stories as well.

I couldn't wait to get my hands on this book. I love this series and I've always been curious about what has happen between these two. So when I was told that book 3 was about them. I was more then excited. Which I should've known since I read book 4 before book 3.

Claire has ALWAYS love Forrest ever since she was a little girl. And Forrest love her just the same. But because of a situation that has happen Claire has left Forrest with no explanation. But the love she has for him has never been any stronger.

Now back and wanting to try to mend what she has broken Claire is no longer running away, but is hear to fight for him. And show him that she is not a temporary but forever.

There are many times in this book where I feel so bad for Claire, because of the way Forrest treats her and says to her. Even though you know he's hurting and you can really sympathies with him, I can't get over how cold he is to her. And yes I know that is crazy since she's the one that left him. And if you were in his shoes you would do the same. But I just can't help how I feel. Well on the other hand I'm thinking that what he's dishing out is in his rights.

But the love and chemistry between these two are amazing, it really makes my heart race with excitement. I kind of wish there was some more making Forrest jealous. Because let me tell you the image of Forrest jealous is one that would make you chuckle, but also warm your soul.

Honestly the image of making any of these men in this series jealous will make warm you soul, but make you heart race, as well as your eye racing across the words in the book just to see what they would do. Its very intoxicating.

But Claire trying to reconnect Forrest isn't the only thing going on in the book, there so much more to the story.

Forrest is the sexy nerd/Doctor in the group, that you would love to have for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and possibly snack and dessert.... Well I know I would not sure about anyone else.

I love when he goes head to head with Jason, and they both have their Alpha cards out. Just the clash of these two makes you want to pull out a bowl of pop corn, and hopes to see some skin....... Or maybe that just me..

Anyway the fact that these best friends might come to blows because of something that happen before anyone of them was born. Is something that makes your heart stop, and want to shout out "STOP! It's not his fault, don't take it out on one another." And which Forrest is in the wrong for being a jerk to Jason, who only wants to be a friend.

Honestly I feel that at that point and one where he snaps at his mother, and completely disrespects her. Is where Forrest has gone pass the line and I start to dislike him. Actually their is a couple of times where I dislike him, too the point that I mumble to myself, "That couldn't be me."

But once again you have to take into account of what is happening in the story and kind of see it from his point of view.

I really enjoy this book, and this series, it's so sad that the next book is kind of short and I believe the last one to this series. Especially since these books, and characters are freaking awesome.

I do have a some questions. One would be if Keely ends up having a baby. I always wonder that since she's been trying to have one with Blake for a while now.

Overall this was an amazing book, and a great read, that I am more then likely to read it more than once. Not to mention is a great romance book for anyone to read.

Tattooed Hearts by Minka Jolie is the third book in the Martha’s Way series.  In my opinion it is by far the best one yet.  FIVE STARS all the way.

This book is a history of Forrest and Claire.  Claire fell in love with Forrest back when she was around 13 years old.  Forrest  knew that for him there was only one girl.  He wanted no one else.

At the age of 17 Claire snuck into the boys tree house one night knowing that only Forrest would be there.  He taught her how to play pool and they shared their first real kiss.   Forrest being 3 years older than Claire made it clear to her that he wanted to be with her but she should be with someone her own age.  She said there was noone but him for her.  He promised her he would wait for her and if she still felt that way on her 18th birthday they would take things further.

At midnight when she turned 18 Claire went to Forrest and they made love and declared their infinite love for one another.  Yet after overhearing a conversation between 2 people who were very important in her life.  Claire ran away.  Spent 10 years running.  Only coming back to the island for holidays and special occassions.  Effectivly avoiding being alone with Forrest.  They closest they had gotten was a shared kiss at Adam and Lilys wedding.

This time Claire is going back to the island.  She has told her manager that she needs a couple weeks for a break.  Unbeknownst to Claire there has been a tragedy in Forrest’s life and now more than ever he is going to need her, whether he knows and aknowledges it or not.

Claire and Forrests friends are all back in this book as well.  Minka and Jason have some amazing news.  Adam and Lily are even farther along in their pregnancy.  Keely and  Blake are having some trouble but still have high hopes.

Will Claire and Forrest figure things out?

There are HUGE things going on in this book.  You will laugh and cry.  I am truly hoping for a book 4.  I would love to see if Keely and Blake get their problems taken care of.

Great book.  Like I said I think this is my favorite so far of the three.

This was just ok for me. It started out pretty rough because I was not really liking Claire. On top of that a major plot line of the book was unnecessary in my opinion. Add in some writing issues that irked me (incorrect past/present tense use, repetition, punctuation and A LOT of long drawn out descriptions) it was just a little tedious for me to read.

It got somewhat better around 70% into it. So overall, just an ok read for me.

Tattooed Hearts is book three in Mika Jolie’s Martha’s Way series and this book focuses on Forrest and Claire. We know from previous books that they have a history but up until this point we did not know what they were.
In this book we find out that the reason there is so much heartbreak and longing between these two is that they once loved each other with everything inside themselves until Claire walked away with no explanations. 10 years later she is back to set the record straight because there is one thing that has never changed; she is still in love with Forrest, just as much as she was when she was 13.
Forrest has tried for years to get over Claire and he has tried everything, but it’s the one thing that he could never do. Now she is back and it is the worst timing ever, his father has just died, family secrets have come out and he is left trying to piece his life back together. The last thing he needs is to want her again when he knows that she will do what she always does, leave…
This time though Claire is not leaving without Forrest or with him telling her their chance is over. Will she be able to prove to him that this is forever or will he walk away without giving her the chance.
I think that this book is my favorite of the whole series! I love second chance romances and this is one that will stick with me. Claire and Forrest have a love that people dream about but life and circumstances have gotten in their way and this book lays it all out in the best way possible. I have to say that knowing Claire’s side of the story, I was mad at Forrest for not giving a little but at the same time I couldn’t blame him…ugh, I was yelling at them both ☺ I highly recommend this book to everyone that love to feel with the characters they read about.

10 Stars in my book. Unbelievable, just when I think one book is the best along comes another that is even better in the series. This one is now my new favorite book in the Martha’s Way Series. Book 1 and 2 took my breath away but 3 is just amazing. Forrest Montgomery Desvareaux is one HOT doctor and has been in love with Claire Peters his entire life. Forrest was the town doctor and loves his job and his home. He has a wonderful family and friends that he loves very much as well. Forrest and Claire had the perfect relationship when they were younger until something happened and now he is skittish and doesn’t want his heart to be broken ever again. Forrest has something happen to someone close to him and his life ends up changing in more ways than one.
Claire is a famous singer and she is always eager to sign autographs and have her picture taken with her fans. After all it is the fans who helped her get where she is today. Claire has grown up around boys that always defended and protected her but they couldn’t protect her heart. Claire has been in love with Forrest her entire life and she has been running from everything to keep her heart intact. Claire wants to do what her heart wants and so she is back in her hometown trying to do just that.
This book is just amazing and I loved reading about Forrest and Claire and also getting to know what the other characters that I have become attached to as well. I love this series and author. Truly talented.

Tattooed Hearts Keep Running!

An interracial on again, off again love story of Forrest and Claire! Another book from the series Martha's Way that disappoints. Forrest and Claire knew each other from childhood as they brew up on Martha's Vineyard. Claire thought she was a part of the gang consisting of Forrest, Jason, Adam and Blake. They looked upon her as a bratty sister who followed them around. However Claire fell in love with Blake even she was thirteen. He for the most part ignored her.

Finally she confessed her love when she was seventeen and he kissed her and told her to come back when she was eighteen if she felt that way. She did and she came and they did. Something happened and the story evolved in one of her running for ten years returning home for short periods.

He was distraught because he thought they were revealing their love to family and friends but she simply left.. They all had their own problems but could see clearly what Forrest and Claire needed. There was just too much going on which was not particularly well written. I got to the point that I was saying just made a decision already. I really didn't care what happened. The book was tiresome and I began to dislike all if the characters. I just wanted to be finished with this book.

Thankfully, I finished.

This heart breaking second chance is written in third person from a dual POV. Forrest and Claire have loved each other forever. They are meant to be. Just as they are getting started as young adults, an overheard conversation sends Claire into a tailspin and she leaves, breaking Forrest's heart. Ten years later, they have danced around their feelings and their past for the last time. Their relationship has to be resolved. And it is a painful process. They both have anger, distrust, and so much pain to overcome. Forrest has some other family issues he is dealing with at the same time, and my heart was broken for him. I loved the depth of his feelings for Claire. They both make mistakes along the way, causing more pain. Ultimately they both have to decide to choose each other over anything else to get to their HEA. This was an emotional read for me but I adored the depth of the characters. I loved that they had supportive friends. I love that they came to the conclusion that home is not a place but where you belong: and sometimes that means a person.

My second read by this author. This series follows a group of friends from Martha's Vineyard. In this storyline we get reacquainted with Forrest and Claire. Claire has been in love with Forrest since a young girl. We get flashbacks of her begging him to be her first kiss. Being three years older than her he felt her being at 15 and him 18th was not right. He makes a pact with her that at her 18th birthday he will do more than kiss her. At her 18th birthday when feeling of love for him and thinking everything will work out for her she overhears a conversation that put her to stop the relationship with Forrest and she leaves Martha Vineyard in the night never too returned only for special occasions. The book flashes to current time which is now ten years later after that incident and we get a glimpse of how both they lives are and how though they are no longer together how they still love each other. Truly enjoyed I love the various dynamic going on in the book we the readers got more than one storyline which is always a plus.

Tattooed Hearts
There’s few stronger memories then that of your first love, especially when it’s been your only love and you’ve never moved passed it. The young love between Forrest and Claire doesn’t end the way they both envisioned and it’s been an excruciating 10 years since. When Claire returns after tragedy strikes Forrest’s life, he has a hard time moving past the hurt that her leaving caused. When she finally shares why she left, he starts to move on, but now he has many other stressors he would never have imagined. I really enjoyed this book and although I haven’t read the others in this series, I didn’t feel like I was missing plot. And it actually makes me want to go find the others. I felt that all main and supporting characters were fully developed, interesting and believable. I rate this story 5 Stars.
*****I voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of this book. All thoughts
and opinions are my own.******

Such an emotional read

This author manages to suck me in, toss my heart around, make me want to cry, and then make it all better in the end. Forrest and Claire are no exception to that rule. Their story is so full of pain, loss, hope, and uncertainty that I couldn’t put the book down. Their once-love never really disappeared, but when Claire finally feels confident enough to fight for it, Forrest seems to want nothing more than to eviscerate her. Or does he? His push and pull games are painful to take, but he’s trying to find his way also. And when he and Claire finally get on the same page, it’s a beautiful thing. Of course, that didn’t mean I didn’t want to slap him a few times for the deliberate cuts and jabs at Claire and her heart. Regardless, Claire’s strength finally breaks Forrest’s ice and he can’t deny what he wants. As painful as the story was at some points, it was definitely worth the read.

This is the 1st book I’ve read and reviewed for this author and it was a beautiful love story. Forrest and Claire loved each other and grew up together but misunderstandings made Claire run. Forrest has closed himself off from love and he has built impenetrable walls around his heart since Claire left him. 10 years later Claire is back in town and she is willing to fight for Forrest but he is as cold as a fish towards her. It all ends well but Claire has one hell of a fight to get there. I loved this heart warming story there was also some sadness as well, I can see things from Forrest’s side so I can understand his attitude towards Claire. I really enjoyed reading this book and I will be keeping my eye out for more from this author. I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth read.

Mika Jolie outdid herself on this book from her Martha's Way collection. Having read the two previously written books from the collection which I enjoyed immensely, I think that book three, Tattooed Hearts is my favorite of the three. Having read The Scale and Need you Now, I found myself wanting to know more about the background characters Forrest and Claire. I knew in my heart that there was something deep going on between them and it was an unspoken story by the ones closest to them from childhood. Totally an attention holder and there were times I wanted to choke both Forrest and Claire because their love for each other was so obvious and true... This is definitely my favorite of the three books that has come from this collection by Mika Jolie. My heart was swooning for these two!
Mika, keep up the good work...
