Keeva is one awesome witch/woman I must say! We meet her as she is being kept prisoner by an alpha wolf with severe issues that make you want to punch him in the face. When he declares they will be mated she plots her escape with a slight bit of help which comes in handy until she finds herself stranded in the middle of nowhere with the town of Blackclaw being the closest. Thankfully fate is guiding her steps as she meets the three alpha bears that run things learning they are her mates. The problem is that the man she ran from refuses to give her up putting them all in danger. Fantastic world building full of detailed characters that will stir both love and hate in turn as all the secrets are revealed. Full of magic, danger, and steam making for a great read. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.

Keeva was betrayed by her coven leader and given to Rydel, a Alpha of a Wolf Pack. Rydel had plans to mate with her but Keeva was finally abel to escape. On the run, she ends up in Blackclaw where she meets Jett, Dane and Tank. Jett is the sheriff of the town along with his two Deputies/friends Tank and Dane who are bear shfters. They were told that they would have one mate to share which leads to them wanting to claim Keeva.

A bushel of bears
Keeva lost her mom to hunters at 9. Not roaming the woods for animals kind of hunters but bigots who believed witches were devil worshipers kind of hunters. Diverting attention, she saved her daughter but lost her life. Raised by her coven, being denied her role as priestess, she's traded to a local wolf pack for safety. The priest that took over her coven is weak and wouldn't stand up to the alpha. After a very brief stint in captivity, she is freed by some pack members who disagree and runs. Where she lands fulfills 2 prophecies- one told to her, one told to the bear pack in the area. They were told they'd share a powerful mate. She was told she'd find her other half. No one told her that half would be in triplicate.

Pssst. A pack of bears is called a sleuth. There was a lot going on in this book. Between the 2 prophecies, the covens, the packs, the rogue hyena shifters, mysterious powers and a few other things. I'm not sure what's going on with the whole hyena angle. The ones causing problems are all males. Their idea of fixing the problem is running them off. This doesn't make sense. Hyenas are matriarchal. All they'd need is a strong female to take charge. Not make them someone else's problem. That's just passing the buck and weak. Their pack, which should be a sleuth, has bears. Grizzlies. They're aligned with wolves and tigers. How they can't beat them into submission is beyond me. Rydel/Rydal/Rydell, his name keeps being spelled differently, is supposed to be very powerful. But we don't really ever see it. His pack isn't huge, he doesn't have super strength, he isn't very intelligent. He's just greedy. The pack members that helped free her are never mentioned again. In fact, the car she arrives in died on the interstate, gets found and is never mentioned again. The sex scenes aren't realistic. Important facts: anal sex requires lube, especially for those that have never before, and water is NOT a lubricant. If 3 men plan on sharing a mate, and don't plan on only being with her alone, at least one of them needs to be stashing lube in convenient locations. They know they're going to be sharing a mate, seem ok with it, then get a little jealous, then it's instantly resolved. No work through. The world building provided says humans have known about supernaturals for a century. Yet, there are still hunters and they believe witches are Satan worshipers? Not an underground faction, a whole town apparently. How are supes not protected from things like this? If bears are deputies then they're in other forms of law enforcement and government. A whole coven of people dying and disappearing would make waves, be noticed and should have had repercussions. So, yeah, little details stuck out and bothered me. The world building was spotty. And for a witch powerful enough to glamour a house away, glow like a lighthouse, and fry or fling wolves like frisbees, she can't do anything against the wolf alpha but scream and kick? Huh? But she's supposed to this uber witch? A little tweaks, a little more background and less threads dropped, and this story will take off. It's already entertaining and I'll be looking for the next. Also, how did so many bears, wolves and tigers let a dozen or so wolves get past them? And what happened to the hyenas in jail?

A shifter and magical romance. The story mostly circles around Keeva. She is a sweet witch who has hidden her power most of her life. Even though paranormals have lived openly with humans for years there are still some who won’t accept them. And then there is Rydel. He is an evil power hungry wolf. He has his eyes set on her and won’t stop until she is fully his. But there are heroes to this story as well. A whole town of them actually. Blackclaw is town that accepts all and will help them. They are led by three bear alphas. They may be her salvation and her future.

I like how this is a nice, light read for when I’m looking for something quick and easy to get through. Despite it being a relatively short length story, the plot and characters are pleasant enough and the writing style made it so that I could ease into the whole shifters and witch drama without feeling lost. There aren’t much tension so the pacing feels smooth and consistent and by the end of the story we get a nice HEA although I personally prefer to see the main characters actually defeat the villain.

Bam!!!!
This is a new author for me. But I gotta tell you. That I will be reading more of her !!! This was a little short (only took me a few hours to read). But the writing was superb. Good plot, might be able to be fleshed out a bit. But damn if it was a good damn book !!!
Usually these "fast burn" stories are lacking in content. Not this one. I look forward to reading more of this young ladies work !!!

A mess
So there wasn't much world building and zero relationship building, it was all insta love. There was very little character development and the sex scenes were unrealistic, they read like they'd been written by a man. Not that some men don't understand that being in a pool washes away natural moisture, it doesn't add to it and certainly not enough for "dark entrance" activity >:( I'm definitely not reading anything else by this author.

I like the fact that the female protagonist is a witch. I’ve been really craving a witch novel for a long time, and this was a really nice read. I can’t wait to read the second novel. Please do continue with the series :-). Happy reading everyone

Keeva has had a really hard life. Being a powerful witch is just the good part. Hiding from hunters at age 9, being raised by a questionable coven and then given to a deranged alpha wolf are just some of the highlights. Jett, Dane and Tank are three alpha bears that joined to make one super strong clan. Jett is the serious one, Dane is the charismatic one and Tank is the strong silent type. I loved all of the alphas, but Tank is my absolute favorite. I love how he courted Keeva. He is so sweet and she could see that from the beginning. I think that with him taking the lead they got where they wanted to be a lot faster than if the other two tried. I also loved how she found her childhood best friend and most of her mother's coven (that weren't killed). I also loved how she was determined to help fight her own battle with Rydell (the deranged wolf alpha that thought she was his property). All in all I LOVED this book and can't wait for book two. I want to see how the coven is doing, how much more power she gained at her birthday and of course, check up on her yummy alpha bears. Jett(the sheriff) of Blackclaw runs the town and also the local bear clan with his two deputies and fellow Alphas(Tank and Dane). Since they were cubs, they were told that they would rule together and share one mate, creating the strongest clan.
But their mate has someone who thinks she belongs to him. Will they lose their perfect mate, just as they found her. Or will they take down the Alpha wolf, that thinks he has a claim to Keeva. Read to find out!!

I tried really hard, but I just couldn't get into this book. DNF @30%.
I found the heroine annoyingly perfect, and the alphas personality-less. If you're going to write a menage/reverse harem, it's important that all the men feel distinct; otherwise, what's the point? I also didn't understand the point of all the flashbacks. They seemed to only serve the purpose of reiterating how powerful the witch would become, which we already knew. They just pulled me out of the story of the MCs for no obvious reason.
This book also really needs another round of editing. There aren't structure problems per se, but there's too much repetition, and things are explained to a ridiculously minute degree. Readers are able to make connections and assumptions while reading. It's unnecessary to go into as much detail on simple concepts as this author chose to.
Perhaps with some more editing and cleaning up, I would be interested in giving the book another shot, but as it stands now, I just can't get into it.

I really enjoyed this book. It is the first in the Bearclaw series. It lays the groundwork for a little town of shifters, witches and humans that all peacefully live together. The three alphas of the Bearclaw Council finally have fate bring them their mate as prophesied. She is a very powerful witch running for her future and life. Together while they are loving, protecting and providing for her, she finds what she had been dreaming of her whole life... times three. Im hoping that the next book not only continues their story, but also tells us about other shifters who find their mate. The town of Bearclaw is a great place to be able to explore with so many groups of shifters. This story was fast paced but gave a lot information and romance. I highly recommend it and look forward to the next in the series!

ONE WONDERFUL ADVENTURE!!!
Ah Snap! A spinning vortex of startling mishaps and stunning events that launch your emotions exploding front and center. Ariel totally nailed this bad boy 100% on point, realism that meld this baby together piece by piece. Thrusting along with one dramatic storyline and gripping plot that bring this bad boy together beautifully. Sparks fly as confusion, intrigue and mayhem ensues with electrifying suspense. Hurdling the trials and tribulations keeping pace with a slew of twists and turns along with bumps and bruises that propel this baby to life flawlessly. The characters are authentic, genuine and realistic with such depth and individuality that flow along fluidly without a glitch. The scenes were so vividly detailed and descriptive it gives the illusion you were along for the ride. Awesome job Ariel, thanks for sharing this little gem with us.

The leader of her coven gives Keeva to the viscous Alpha Wolf Rydel to save himself from the wolf pack but with some help she escapes. She drives west for two days but then the car breaks down and when she looks up the is a sign that tells her she is approaching the town of Bearclaw. Heading into town she gets something to eat and is directed to somewhere to sleep. Jett Balfour was the sheriff of Blackclaw along with his deputies Dane Irving and Tank Berman make up the Council of Alphas who govern Bearclaw and are predicted to share a mate. When Tank goes into the diner he scents a fragrance that is foreign to him but his bear says MATE.

There is a lot to enjoy in this book. Keeva is a powerful witch with an inner strength. I appreciated that she stood up for herself and didn't cower where others might and yet she was still really sweet and made friends easily. Rydel is an evil alpha wolf that initially held Keeva captive and wants her as his mate. He is not going to give her up. He adds danger and violence to the story. Then there was a seer who foretold that three bear alphas in Blackclaw would share a mate. The three add humor, love and steam to the story. I laughed as each of the guys' bears scented Keeva. Their bears wanted to just take her home and claim her but Jett convinced them all that their human sides needed to "woo" her so she wouldn't run off. Although I liked Jett and Dane, Tank was my favorite. I read this story in one sitting and it held my attention throughout.

This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW. Fate of Four by Ariel Marie is the opening salvo in her Blackclaw Alphas series. Ariel Marie has made a name for herself by offering readers well written, gut wrenching, emotionally driven stories with well developed characters. This story does that description justice. A quick read, which is packed with action, drama, humor, evil wolves and yummy bears, demands to be read. I had no problem disliking our villain (Rydel) and cheering on our heroine (Keeva) in her quest for freedom. There are strong secondary characters that I definitely are clamoring to have their stories told. I love that Ariel Marie is one of those writers that paints a picture with her words and allows you to run the movie in your mind. Worth the read!

Keeva is destined to be a powerful witch, but her coven betrays her and pawns her off to a ruthless alpha wolf pack. When one of those wolves helps her escape, her plan is to keep heading west. She's not sure why until she gets there. Three alpha bears run the clan in Blackclaw, they are a powerful clan looking for their mate. Never did they think she would fall into their town on the run. When they learn of her, they will stop at nothing to claim and protect her. But will they be enough when the alpha wolf tracks her down? This has a bit of a cliffhanger so I look forward to reading the next book in this series!

I love the premise of this story, one female who has her own inner strength but three bear shifters who would do anything to protect their mate. Keeva is a powerful witch but on the solstice she will be getting extra powers that is why her coven sold her out to a nasty power-hungry alpha wolf shifter. She escapes and ends up in Bearclaw where she catches the eyes of the three alphas that run the town. They turn her world upside down and inside out but in a good way. But danger is still stalking her and the deranged wolf shifter isn’t giving up. Will Dane, Tank and Jett be able to protect Keeva? I can’t wait to see how this series progresses!

This was one hot, steamy and thrilling book. Keeva, a powerful witch, gets away from a crazed Alpha wolf and runs directly to the arms of her 3 fated Alpha bear mates, Jett, Dane and Tank. They knew she would come, but they did not realize that she would be so powerful. They wanted to woo her to make her feel comfortable but those plans went out the window when they realized that danger was coming. In all the chaos and fighting, these 4 characters found themselves in each other and now they have a new chapter starting, parenthood.

Keeva has been in a bad situation for many years and she is trying to bide her time to change it. An angel amongst her captors helps her escape and sets her on her way to her destiny. The characters are diverse and unique each having their qualities, strengths, and quirks. These characters add volume and depth to a storyline filled with intrigue, ups and downs, and suspense. A great glimpse into their world and looking forward to the next book. Amazing read!!

The Fate of Four is an absolute beautiful story of four people who would do anything to protect each other. Keeva is a beautiful soul who has been let down so badly from the people who were suppose to care for her after losing her mother. She's strong, smart, sweet, and so loving. Jett, Dane, and Tank are the three bear alphas destined for the same mate. Each has their own unique quirks and I fell in love with how sweet and protective they were over Keeva.

She is strong and brave when face with unbelievable odds that happens to her. I was so excited to
see how she meets,
Her mates made that much more enjoyable to see how this story will unfold.
I felt like the author did a great job at explaining the MC and their journey to each other.

Fate of four...
Wonderful start to what looks like a great series. While it's title says the "Fate of Four", it's more like the fate of an entire town. A fate that isn't guaranteed at the end of this story. Yes, I'm talking cliffhanger. The threat to Keeva is still out there. Will her three Alphas be able to keep her safe? Guess we will have to wait for future books to find the answer. Hopefully secondary characters will find their HEAs along the way. I would really like Tantra to find hers.
