This fantasy story was soo complicated and yet so intriguing that I couldn’t put the book down. Five people who’s destiny is intertwined in each other’s and who’s fate still has to be written. Somehow human and fae working together, trying to understand a prophecy that links their lives in a way they were not expecting. A princess, two soldiers, a servant and a human from another universe. What could go wrong? Well start right off with the fact that the princess and the human resembles each other a bit too much and the princess is promised to one of the soldiers. But dreams are magical things and I really enjoyed how the author played with them in this book. Both when it comes to them being an escape from reality and as a portal to another dimension. Aurelia, Lark, Nova, Cillian and Andar. Oh, they are in such a mess. And the journey they take makes you constantly questioning what will happen next, and how they will react to the truth of the role they have to play. And the relationships do get complicated so … it’s another mess entirely !!! And then new powers and new plot twist and more complex dynamics are revealed throughout the book and the narrative gets more mind blowing. And then those last pages … wow !!! Way to leave a cliffhanger !!! I’m excited for more !!!

This book surprised me. I’m the type of reader that likes to go in blind especially when the book is marketed as a romance. I tend to be quite picky. When I found out that it was student professor romance I was intrigued and since the tension was there and the attraction was there too, I had a great time getting through the Rowan and Julian’s dynamics. To be fair, I maybe expected it to be a bit more of a slow burn but I don’t feel like complaining necessarily considering that it also had a certain degree of spice that made their romance hot and all over the place at the same time. The frustration, the sadness and the melancholy of what they share is unique and it’s the kind of tortured love people talk about only this time it does end with an HEA. Thankfully, otherwise I would have been extremely sad and tearful. This time around is the girl with trauma in their past and the MMC with a hero complex (again I’m not complaining cause it did have an effect on me) but who’s ready to do everything to save her and protect her. It would have been even more perfect if it’d been in a fantasy setting. Overall, I really enjoyed this book and I’m glad I had the opportunity to read it.

This book was so much fun !!! And also the perfect romcom for the holiday season !!! Imagine strangers to one Valentine’s Day stand to strangers to lovers. Imagine forced proximity and he is gonna help her out for her sister’s wedding cause she needs a date. Only when they are together messes always happen and she doesn’t want to cause a mess this time around. But he is irresistible and they can’t stay away from one another. Ethan and Lana’s story was crazy and messy and of course so engaging and frustrating. I loved it. The tension between them was so sweet and sine this author never makers her book completely spicy, there’s only the hint of something happening but never too many details. It’s more of a fade to black romance which, to be fair I really appreciated because spicy times are good but not everything and this author always manages to intrigue me deeply so that I can’t put the book down !!! I had such a fun time as per usual and I can’t wait to read another book like this !!!

The more I read about Evelyn trying to solve murder mysteries happening at the Pinnacle Hotel, the more intrigued with the character I get. It seems like she is the younger version of Miss Marple at the Bertram Hotel !!! I love it !!! We have a young socialite woman who’s in love with mysteries and adventure and I have such a fun time getting through them alongside her. It feels like such an entertainment. Add to that a murder at the dinner table where she is seemingly the only one who’s able to get to the bottom of the story, and you make the perfect recipe for a cozy, interesting and winter season like book which is perfect to read under a blanket. I don’t know why but I do in fact associate these books with this season and Evelyn … I don’t know why but she brings me in in a way no one else does. And her complicated relationships with the other characters especially the male ones … love it !!!! And while I was disappointed by certain turn of events on the relationship side, at the end everything ended up being as it was supposed to be and I cannot wait for the next one !!!

Not bad at all!!! To be fair, when a book is about dragons and dragon riders, and when those dragon riders are soldiers with a particular strength, it’s hard for me not to be interested. Add political intrigue and a soldier (Avrea) who reminded me very much of Daenerys Targaryen and you have a very good match!! I have to be honest, I took a bit to get into it because I needed to figure out who was whom and what they wanted and which language they spoke (first book in a fantasy series stuff) but when I did, I never put it down. And when another intriguing character coming from nowhere … I was interested !!! It surprised me a lot and turned out like nothing I had expected (not the I am complaining). But the best thing was the fact that it was action packed and quite fast pace so there was no moment of calmness or stagnation!!! I wonder what the characters will have to face next, since it left off after such a cliffhanger!!

This book is described as Jane Eyre meets The Hunting of Bly Manor and they were right!!! But it was a bit funnier and less dramatic. A hunted house. The almost new lady of the manor who has lived with this Collection of spirits since she was a little girl. But they want something from her she doesn’t want to give. Even more when she falls in love with someone who is not her fiancé!!!! What a journey we go through with Elegy!!! It was fun, it was witty, it was spicy and it was dark and gothic. It was the perfect book to read before winter and when the autumn season is at its peak!! It does give off all the right vibes!!! And it was so easy to get into the book !!! I did read it in one sitting after all !!! And to be fair that last half definitely keeps you going when the action gets intense and the plot thickens !!!! You need to know if Elegy will have the opportunity to live the life she wants and what the Collection has in store for her. And then the romance makes you giggle so it’s always worth it (Atticus is such a great guy) !!!! I would love to read more from this author !!!

A dark academia book with anatomy and a bit of a complicated love story? Sign me up!!! What a catchy and exciting beginning for a book!! The author manages to draw you in from the very start with the first chapter !!! A posh noble young man who was supposed to become entangled with the church, decided to study anatomy !!! What a plot !! Add to that a little bit of a love story that blossoms between secrets and bodies … this book was real fun !!! Fast and easy to get into and out. You can easily read it in a day as a palate cleanser from any other book. Getting through James’ story felt almost like reading a novel where you know the beginning and end but not really sure how you get there. The only thing you know is that you’ll enjoy the ride. Putting in the same book, mystery, anatomy, a bit of fun and a sweet LGBTQIA love story, feels like the perfect idea for a cozy book that allows you to get into the autumn/winter season you’re not sure how to define!!! Especially in that dark academia vibes !!! I really like the way this author writes the storyline and the poetry with which they describe love and relationship !!! A beautiful new experience and I can’t wait to read more!!!

This book was exactly what I wanted and then some. It was the sequel I was desperately craving after book one. Aileen is even more interesting as a character this time around. She is scared, scarred, fragile and yet strong, kind and yet fearsome. She is incredibly powerful and yet not fully capable of understanding heed own powers. I loved that we got to know more about her backstory and the whole ordeal with the gods that happened in book one. It gave so much more depth to this character that it didn’t have before. And Ragnor … to be completely honest with you, for a second there, I thought that he wasn’t even the real love interest anymore, so used I am to other books making me change my mind. But I couldn’t forsake him. And it seems Aileen couldn’t either. He is stronger, wilder, more obsessed and even more possessive. He is eaten by guilt and he doesn’t know what to do with himself when the woman he was obsessed with is gone in another League. We have spice, we have passion we have angst (the best kind to be honest) and we have sweetness somehow. I loved it. Their dynamic was back to stage one. An enemies to lovers to the max. But this time there is something more. There is a feeling none of them is able to deny anymore. A feeling that will hunt them until the end. And it was so good to read !!! And I’m once again left with a cliffhanger !!! I need book three like NOW !!!!

Wonderful and amazing!!! I loved every second of reading this book!!! What a ride !!! I’m a die hard fan of any possible hades and Persephone retelling. They are my all time favourite characters in the Olympus and when we there’s a chance that their story is written, I jump at it !!! And I was right !!!! I felt their passion, their romance. The evil force trying to keep them apart from one another. This book was magic, it was romance, it was spice and addiction. Hades is as obsessed as ever if not more. She came in his world to escape her mother and found solace in his darkness. But Demeter won’t let her go. Not even when she binds herself to him. From enemies to unwilling roommates to lovers. Their story is always one I wanna read about. This version was no exception. I loved the way Hades treated her. How possessive he is of her and how obsessed he is with her wellbeing and her pleasure first. I was salivating for any exchange and for any “little goddess” he gifted me !!! And after that last damn cliffhanger … I soo need more !!!! ...more

I loved it !!! I absolutely loved it!!! Pirate romantic fantasy adventure with a long list princess who forsake her people and her kingdom in order to be free and now is threatened to get back to save the life of her best friend and a pirate captain whom they talk about in legends who wants to use her to protect his crew. This book was tension. It was plot twists after plot twists. It was secrets and betrayal. It was hidden identities. It was founding family where you think you’re alone in the world. It was finding love amongst those you consider enemies. It is pure adventure in its best form !!! I loved every second of reading it. The scheming, the frustration, the action, the battle and the characters’ dynamics. It felt like being back in an amazing Tanya’s book !!! The pirate setting of the whole thing made me long for more books in this sub genre !!!! I love it deeply!!! And the author made it so easy for me to get straight into the story without thinking too much about it!!! Add the double pov which made Lio so much more of a badass FMC who’s willing to sacrifice almost everything for her freedom but not those she loves. And made Ryker … oh such a great morally grey book boyfriend !!!!! I loved him !!! And, to be fair, the nickname “sweetheart” will always do it for me !!! I can’t wait to read more from this author !!!

Not bad at all !!! A romantasy book that starts a series of political intrigue, family ramifications with a series of twists, and a forbidden romance between e thief, pretending to be a princess, and a prince. I really enjoyed this book. Lara and Cai’s dynamic reminded me a lot of Lara and Aren from the Bridge Kingdom series only younger and less spicy. The tension was there. The build up was there. Plus, add the fact that she was sent to him, pretending to be his fiancée only to steal from him … loved that. The narrative was flawless and it made it easy for me to read the book in one sitting. The characters are extremely likeable and you fall in line with what is happening to them pretty soon. The author made it also really effortless to get into the story and follow, step by step, what Lara and Cai were thinking and the experiences that they were having. I had a really good time and the last pages definitely left me with a cliffhanger worth the name and a necessity to read more ASAP !! ...more

What better could your read for spooky season than a thriller book with an FMC, who’s little murdering monsters? And by monsters I mean all kind of worst evil men on the planet? All to keep her loved ones and all the other innocent people free from them and safe? This book was great!!! I had an amazing time getting through it and Cordelia was one of the funniest serial unaliver I have ever had the pleasure to meet in my reading experience! Is she a troubled, traumatised, morally grey character? Absolutely !! After all, who said it has to be only men? But she is amazing to read and amazing to love and obsess over!!! Getting through her head and following her story was fun and thrilling and intense and her family (because we’re talking about found family here too) was the best! Every interaction was analysed in detail and every glance was possibly problematic but at the end of the day if there’s grey in the eyes, she knows !!! And she will do something about it!!! I’ve never had more fun reading about a thriller book!!! ...more

Absolutely amazing !!! Wow !!! This book was a welcomed surprise and an absolutely thrill in my tbr!!!! Medra Pendragon, the little girl whom we have seen already in the Blood of a Fae series (just remembering her there makes me want to ugly cry) is now thrown into a world of dragons long gone - as well as dragon riders - and vampires. An Academy for highbloods and blightborns. And where she is thrown into an arranged marriage through bonds with the descendant of one of the most powerful houses !!! This book was Harry Potter - dramione fanfic specifically - mixed with Vampire Academy, mixed with From Blood and Ash !!! And it was magnificent!!! Starting from the very beginning, I felt enchanted by the narrative and what the author managed to do with the exciting characters’ dynamic and thrilling and magical storyline. Seeing Medra living the life she never had in the first series was riveting and when characters from that series were mentioned … I found myself looking back at those moments and those people with nostalgia but so much love. Now she is the firecracker we knew she could have become had she has the chance. And Blake … hot damn it, he is exactly the Draco Malfoy we wanted !!!! Blond haired, tattooed and morally grey but obsessed with her in a way none of them expected not wanted really. Their dynamic was as addicting as it was complicated and from start to finish you are not sure whether you want them to work things out or not!!! And the found family trope here … it’s not in depth yet but I expect it will be as we move forward with the story!!! Dragons and vampires are an odd mix for a book, but help me, if I was’t intrigued !!! If I could, I definitely would get the whole thing early !!!! I’m absolutely invested and I can’t wait for more !!!

Did I get exactly what I wanted in this spicy and funny and romantic romcom story? Absolutely!!! Boss romance, one night stand, forced proximity, workplace romance and an undeniable pull these characters are feeling. Exactly my cup of tea. I had so much fun getting through Lulu and Tristan’s story and honestly their dynamic was hilarious. The book is short enough to make the narrative interesting without sounding boring. I could read about them and have the best time, without feeling like the pages were too many or the story repetitive. It was a good combination of short time, fun time. Plus, there is something about Lulu that draws you in. I don’t know if it is the fact that she is an introverted woman trying and pretending to be outdoorsy and a partygoers when in truth, she is made for cozy movies and a night in. Or simply the fact that, as many others, she was attracted by guys that would have eventually have a path that felt incompatible to hers. And when Tristan comes in the picture … oh boy, did she have a great time!!! I enjoyed their dynamic and some of the banter that was there and the possibility of another story like this is … really exciting!!!

Was it twisted? Definitely. Was it also addicting? As per usual in every single one of this author’s books, it was. A Jafar and Jasmin twisted retelling where he takes everything that belonged to her father, including her. A retelling in which they had been sharing something even before. In which her nightmares and dreams had been made of him. Of what he could do to her. The presence of characters’ illustrations made me absolutely feral for these two. And their complicated and more than a little dark dynamic was addicting in a way only a romance like this can be. Fully possessive and obsessive. Completely wrong and yet deeply right. Yasmine here is the good girl who wants to misbehave. And Jafar … he is there for her. He might want her because he knows she is his. But the truth is that he has always been hers first. And the spice … oh wow it was intense !!!! The plot was … almost nonexistent but I was there for a fun time not a long time and the book was also quite short so it felt easy to read it in one standing !!! Only now I need to drink a bit of water and also prepare … cause I desperately need book two in this series !!

Slow burn, forbidden romance, and forced proximity. It was really good. I really enjoyed it!!! I have to admit that after reading Grimstone, this book was less twisted and more romantic. It was still a bit dark to be completely honest with y’all but as always with this author I tend to have an amazing time all throughout the experience. And this was no exception. The thing I love the most though, is the amazing illustrations present in the book. Between chapters and sometimes more than one per chapter, they are what makes the narrative so much more real and exciting. Elena and Atlas share some trauma from their past that only allowed them to connect more and find solace in one another in a way none of them thought was deserved. I loved their dynamic and despite it being sweeter than Remi and Dane’s one, I can’t say I complain !!!

Three different povs all thrilling and engaging. With the same purpose but different reasons. Three people with nothing in common but the only thing that binds them. I feel especially sad after finishing this book. It brought me back to the reason why I love fantasy book. It brought me back to the realm why I love impossible quest and people getting together for selfish and selfless reasons. The characters did remind me a lot of the six of crows bunch whose are a complicated lot. But it is true that alongside Iravan, Anastasia and Zain I felt constantly pulled from one side and pushed towards another. Living this experience alongside them felt like walking a maze you don’t know how to exit but you know you have to. Criminals, rebels, lords and councils and beneath it all, secrets that need to be revealed. What a wild ride. And when it got to the end, it did make me exceptionally emotional !!! Oh what a great thing to find good fantasy books.

This book was otherworldly good!!! I was already a fan of Eva Devon’s books but when I read the synopsis for this one … I simply had to try it !!! And I was right !!! A childhood friends to strangers to lovers story when she makes a vow for spinsterhood but cannot, because of her family’s economic situation, and he is a duke but also a matchmaker, who will never marry himself, because he doesn’t believe in love !!! And they even have to work together to help her find The One !!!! There is so much tension in this book !!! The attraction and the forced proximity between the two is amazing and their banter is something I had so much fun reading !!! And don’t let me start of the fact that she is HIS BEST FRIEND’S LITTLE SISTER!!! Jaqueline, or Jack, and James are so good together and despite everything they had to get through, they managed to find peace and love in each other, something, he believed, couldn’t even exist!!! The past trauma he had, the doubts and insecurities about his own future and the respect and deference he constantly shows her … I’m absolutely in love with this man !!! Thank you so much to everyone who made this happen !!! And check the book out as soon as it will be out !!!

OMG!! This book was just something else! I loved every second of it! Fans of the unhoneymooners, check this one out because it is absolutely worth it! An enemies to lovers romance where the two main characters are forced together because their mums want them to marry because they're bestie! They both love watching a tv series about fairytale retellings. There is mention of disability because the main female character, Shaina is a bit deaf. And the main male character, Mark is demisexual. Such great representation in a book that explores important themes such as what it means to be heard and understood in every possible sense of the word. And don't let me even start on the spicy scenes these two enjoy!! Great! Their romantic relationship was building from the beginning, with banters and fun times, with a mutual attraction they both wanted to fight hard but a mutual respect and trust that took some time in the making. Plus, to be honest, I'm a massive fan of the male character falling first ... and deep. It felt inevitable but the slow burn got me going!!! I'm not going to lie, sometimes I even had chills reading about them. Shaina and Mark are two completely different people, both when it comes to they habits and their personality. But at the end, failed attempt at arranged marriage or not, they unexpectedly find in each other something others couldn't give them ... attention and understanding. They both tried to understand each other. That's what the whole story is about! I absolutely loved this story and I'm so glad I got the chance to read it.

This series has such a hold on me !!!! I loved it !!! I absolutely loved this book!!!! With forced proximity, one bed trope, possessive man, plus size heroine and a tension so thick it could cut air, Hope and Mitchell’s romance was absolutely addicting !!!!! She is a science journalist and she has just had a terrible accident when a handsome, Greek-god-like Adonis, ex-NBA player saves her but thanks to a storm they have to share a room in a hotel for single people where she is gonna meet new friends and a roommate that will have a hard time keeping his hands to himself. All of this not even saying that he is recovering from a divorce from his cheating ex-wife !!!! Their chemistry was impossible to ignore and I found myself tremble more than one time. And Mitchell … that man has a way with words !!!! But I can’t be surprised considering the effect his best friends (aka Linc and Tully) had on me in the first two books in this series !!! Plus his very outgoing and sexy and possessive attitude was well-matched with her naive and shy personality!!!!! They will both try to trust again as well as love and be loved in return without feeling inadequate or unworthy!!!! I love these books especially for their meaning and for the fact that, honest to the core, these women are absolutely badasses !!!!!! They are so inspiring and the fact that they have their men looking at them like they are the moon is thrilling in a way that’s amazing !!!! I am so glad I had a chance to read this book and I can’t wait for another instalment!!!!
