Not as good as book 2, mostly because being in Emery's head was exhausting.

Emery's obsession with August was real, but August went from being annoyed with Em to wanting to be around him all the time much too quickly. It gave me whiplash.

More relationship development, please.

Also, I would like to read just one book by this author where a dramatic separation doesn't occur at the end. It's such a tired, clichéd trope, yet Rose used it in all three books thus far.

Susan The 70-90% breakup… Ugh, I really hate it when authors use this as a trope. I like how Cora Rose writes, but this.. I could do without.

Same. Every book, there's a misunderstanding, and one of the MCs runs. I'm over it.

Vania It really was exhausting, but I guess it was a fair representation of how adhd works, your brain is always running like that.
I'm also getting tired of the dramatic separation at the end, and it took me longer to finish this one. The second is still my favorite.
Now, I wonder if I should continue with the series, I'm not too hyped with Luke
