Ted Hughes Plaque
Ted Hughes, Poet Laureate, was inspired to writ a poem, by an old photograph of six young men taken at this spot near Lumb Bridge. The photograph was of six young men taken just before the First World War. Sadly all the young men lost their lives in that war.
