I am a health and wellness educator, licensed aesthetician, American record holder at 60 meters, NCAA record holder in the 100/200 meter dash and former fastest women in the world. I conduct wellness seminars that address the needs of the whole person; body, mind and spirit. I help people take control of their health by encouraging them adopt healthy, holistic habits.
Before starting my wellness campaign I was the Co-founder of a behavioral health co; Excel Personal Development. Our team of 400 therapists, educators and mental health professionals had the privilege of helping thousands of families in the NC region to care for their mental and emotional needs.
My experiences as an elite athlete and health care provider in both the spa and mental health industry has lead me to believe that optimum health is achieved by caring the physical body as well as addressing what is going on in the mind and developing a toxic free spirit. My seminars are divided into three sections:
DETOXIFY YOUR BODY -through exercise, proper nutrition and eliminating toxic substances that we put on and in the body, in-home spa therapies skin health and more
DETOXIFY YOUR MIND- understand emotions, automatic thought distortions, overcome anxiety, depression, anger and other mental barriers to success. Participants learn to function at your peak mentally.
DETOXIFY YOUR SPIRIT- adopt principals that foster and heal relationships. Understand how kindness and forgiveness impact the body mind and spirit. Learn how to obtain a measure of peace and utilize aroma therapy and essential for better health.
ELEVATE- after participants begin to understand that all of our systems are connected; body, mind and spirit and then commit to take care of all three; they are ready to ELEVATE or reach their full potential. In the extended seminars 2-3 hours, I help participants to understand the anatomy of success through my experiences as a world class athlete and business owner.
Participants also receive my book ELEVATE:Detoxify yourself to Physical, Mental & Spiritual Health so that they leave my seminars with the tools that they will need to continue on their health and wellness journey. Elevate is a health and wellness book, but it does not read like one. It contains over thirty original zany stories and some 70 easy to implement health strategies' that make getting your body, mind and spirit in shape fun!
