Djin, 28 Nov 2025I have used Gemini since day one, March 21st. 2023. Gemini was known as Bard then. 2 years, 8 ... moreFirst thing I do when I set up a new smartphone is to disable all AI crap, including Gemini and all that stuff. I really don't understand why people are so crazy about it.

Five prompts a day? That's dumb. I use Duck.ai on DuckDuckGo, and it's unlimited for free. Now, I didn't say it was as accurate or as feature-rich... but still.

You can find plenty of places nowadays where you can have unlimited access, or find ways to increase your limits without paying - Dezgo and HuggingFace come to mind. Plus, if you have a powerful enough computer, you could run AI on your own system with the ComfyUI opensource software.

I think this is concerning the gemini.google.com way of accessing Gemini models.

I usually use Google AI Studio instead. Pretty sure the rate limits are much more generous on there. I almost never use their main chat page.

Wait. Isn't gemini free? No thanks. I can find everything I need. No any virtual assistant needed.

I have used Gemini since day one, March 21st. 2023. Gemini was known as Bard then. 2 years, 8 months and 7 days I have watched this AI go from a fancy "Google Search" to now being fully integrated into my phone as a working agent AI.

I will say, Gemini 3.0 Pro is top notch compared to OpenAI, Claude, etc because it doesn't try to "vibe" with you. Can't stand that.

All I can say, from the usage of Gemini in Google Messages to replacing "Hey Google", we can't get away from Gemini when you own an Android. I have completely gone "balls deep" into AI and absolutely love Gemini 3.0 Pro and Gemini 2.5 Flash (fast).

With more TPUs and the next generation chip, this will be the AI to watch the most closely to. You'll see.

I used gemini 3pro for 1-2 days and i rolled back to 2.5 flash. I use gemini for quick tasks and i expect fast responses. 2.5 flash's answers are detailed and accurate enough for 90% of my needs while responding quickly within 2-5 seconds. 3pro is both better in natural speaking tone and details. But, it is too slow for my liking around 10-30 seconds per request.

If i need to work on detailed reports, i use my laptop, not my phone.
