Fig - Sandpaper

I chose this plant because I want to increase the amount of native edibles in my garden. I have planted in ground initially with some organic blood and bone fertiliser. It's looking healthy since planting a few months ago. I can't wait to taste the fruit

I love planting native fruit and a Sandpaper Fig is a no brainer given I live on the east coast in Queensland, which is part of its natural habitat.

From Daleys! When initially planted out, lost all its leaves. Has recovered quickly though in the damp and dark position, hopefully will take off next year.

Fig - Sandpaper

Handsome small fig tree, but requires lots of water. Will recover quickly from wilting if adequate water is given.
