We have featured talented artist CJ Hendry before in a post that we called "Hyper Realistic High Life" where her art covered the finest things in life. The new set of drawings we are covering in today's post, are themed around food. They are so meticulously detailed and so cleverly shaded, that you expect the food, should slide down the plate.

Artist Cj Hendry likes the finer things in life, just look at the subjects she chooses to draw. Her Hyper Realistic drawings are larger than the ones we usually see. To give a better idea of scale we have chosen pictures that include Hendry her self. We have added a video of a handbag she drew for you to see, more of her process. It takes a bit to get to the drawing part just be patient it is worth it.

Marco Grassi is an Italian artist that paints incredibly realistic art, in order to showcase, just how good his work is, we have added, for each painting, two more detailed ones, as you will be able to see below, the bigger scale photographs do not diminish the quality of the detail you get. Nigh time scenes are not that common when it comes to paintings and that is why we have decided to concentrate on Evgeny Lushpin's dusk artwork. What makes these paintings special is the concept, the choice of light and the realistic look Lushpin is capable of infusing into them. Most of his work is based on scenes of the major cities around the world, if you have been there, it will remind you of them, if you haven't, it sparks the flame in your mind to imagine its urban surrounding.

Paper Cut, Celebrity Photo Realistic Portraits
We are really impressed with the work that Yoo Hyun produces, he slices and crumples the paper in order to create realistic portraits of famous people. Below we have tried to show just how he manages to accomplish this beautiful effect, by adding an animation, plus another close-up detail. The advantage that come with this kind of art is that, to refresh it, you just need to change the background and the images will adopt a completely different feel. Enjoy...

Photo-realistic Minimalism in Surreal Paintings
Irish Artist Nigel Cox upon leaving college, embarked on a three year Transglobe Expedition, with Sir Ranulph Fiennes. During his travels, predominately across sea and ice, he came across some beautiful but very remote areas, where there was almost a lack of detail in the landscape, where everything was quiet and any detail stood out from its surroundings. Cox brought these experiences into his style of painting, he calls Photo-realistic Minimalism. They almost look like, people plucked from their day to day lives and transported into a world without detail, forcing us to concentrate on the person, eliminating all of the distractions created by our everyday surroundings. More below...

Filipino artist Noel Cruz does something very different, he takes Mass Produced 1:6 & 1:4 dolls & action figures of celebrities and then re-paints them and re-styles their hair to make them so much more like the person they were originally modelled on. We have included a video that has Cruz talk a bit more about his process, plus before and after pictures of his creations. His talents are made, that more impressive, when you consider the size of the dolls faces.

Hyper Realistic Pencil Graphite Drawings
Self Taught Artist Linda Huber, really captures the expressions of the models she draws, be them human or animal. The drawings have to be very detailed and especially with portraits, one wrong detail can change completely the finished image, making it look, nothing like the original. That is why Huber says she spends, on average, a month on each drawing. She also conducts remote paid classes, where she will teach you everything she knows about pencil drawings. Even though we have featured quite a few Hyper Realistic artists, they still really amaze us with their realistic accuracy.

American Artist Patrick Kramer creates these Hyper Realistic drawings with a difference, they carry clever titles that together with the image carry a message. The painting above carries the title "The Optimist and The Pessimist", referring to the Glass being Half Full or Half Empty. If you enlarge the images, remember to look at the titles of the images they are very well thought through.

Before now, we had never seen photo realistic watercolour Paintings, Joe Francis Dowden has definitely shown us something new. We have included a video that show part of two paintings where Dowden gives us some helpful tips. The help is not too in depth, as he is and Book Author, writes magazine articles, Presents TV, DVD’s, seminars, demonstrations and holds classes on a regular basis. I think that if he divulged too many secrets it might hurt his income. In this post we are sharing with you his love for the British Countryside.

Beautiful and precise Hyper Realistic art by Painter François Chartier, really shows how, with a lot of dedication and attention to detail, we can replicate a moment in time, on canvas, just as if it was a photograph or a freeze frame on a video. Chartier divides the subjects he paints in categories, so we have decided to bring you a few of each, starting with Underwater, Pop Culture Icons, Simply Flowers and ending with Paper Beauties.

Hyper-realistic Ballpoint Pen Animals by Artist and illustrator Sarah Esteje aka (ABADIDABOU). Incredible Hyper-realistic drawings executed with a Ballpoint Pen. When asked how she could draw and shade without creating striations, she said that she applies very little pressure and builds up the layers bit by bit and that the process takes a lot of time and a lot of different sittings. The Article also includes a video showing her at work. We have included at the end of the article some other images apart from animals, as they were too good to pass up.

Rebecca Blair is a Canadian visual artist with a Hyper Realistic style very different to the ones we are used to featuring on DesignStack. Her Art seems to be be driven, mostly, from her emotions and her experiences, good or bad, sometimes producing some raw and hard hitting drawings to encapsulate a bad situation or, the personification of feelings like hurt betrayal, loss... Enjoy these beautiful and evocative drawings.

Art runs in the Matthew Greskiewicz's family, with his father steering more towards Oil Paintings and his grandmother, which Greskiewicz attributes as main source of inspiration, when it comes to create art, as she has continually produced it, in one medium or another through out her life. Using Graphite and Charcoal to create art, felt like the right choice for Greskiewicz, as he is red and green color blind. The following is a quote from him "Perhaps even more than the process itself, I enjoy the reactions of my viewers as they slowly begin to realize these aren't photographs."

American Jesse Franks is an all around Artist, she is a Photographer, Paints Portraits and creates original animal Sculptures. In today's post we are going to concentrate on the last one. Most of her sculptures are made using, polymer clay for the sculptured heads and hands, which are then painted, following that, the bodies are covered in soft faux fur. The amazing expressions and the right proportions make these little creatures look like they could actually exist in some hidden corner of our world.

Beyond the mastery with which he paints these Hyper Realistic paintings, Brian Tull really makes his art different by focusing on part of the big picture. These acrylic paintings on canvas, almost look cropped, they force the viewer to pay special attention to the details to try and figure out what the scene is about and what might be going on in the rest of the puzzle, if this is, but one piece.

Drawings of Minimalist Hyper Realistic Portraits
TS Abe is a very accomplished British artist that uses, in the drawings we are showing in this post, the minimalist approach to hyper realistic drawings. We have a bit of everything to help pick up some pointers, on how to accomplish this effect. There is a sped-up video, GIF animations and still images with enlarged details. If you want to learn more about drawings there are other posts, here on DesignStack, just go on the top right hand side of the page and in the search bar, under Search This Blog, key-in "how to draw" and you will get a lot more posts to help you learn.
