About the Congress

Congress Description

The DLSU ARCHERS is a two-day online activity, which will serve as a national convergence of educational practitioners, teachers, curriculum planners, instructional leaders, and policy-makers in Basic Education from all over the Philippines. Drawing on expertise from various disciplines, the Congress will feature multi-disciplinary research presentations that interweave the strategic priorities on Education, Research, and Sustainability. Hence, the papers should be about, but not limited to, the following disciplinal themes:

  • Advancing Sustainable Well-being
  • Breaking Barriers and Shaping Futures
  • Empowering Communities
  • Elevating Excellence in Education
  • Fostering Catalysts of Growth
  • Harnessing the Power of Technology and Innovation
  • Unleashing Potentials

Studies under these disciplinal themes and are centered on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) may touch upon the key areas in the teaching and learning process and the school’s instructional leadership, such as (1) teaching strategies, (2) learning assessments, (3) curriculum development, (4) teacher training, and (5) stakeholders’ engagement. In line with the Sustainable Development Goals, there will also be a presentation of learning plans showcasing innovative strategies in instruction and assessment.

Furthermore, the DLSU ARCHERS will also provide training and mentoring sessions. A plenary session and mentoring break-out room sessions will be administered; hence, participants may use it as an opportunity to meet and socialize with different teachers from different schools.

Congress Objectives

The DLSU ARCHERS, with the theme “Connecting Education and Sustainability: Mobilizing SDGs in Basic Education and Research,” aims for its participants to:

  1. Earn Continuing Professional Development (CPD) units,
  2. Disseminate their research output or learning plan,
  3. Discover future publication opportunities for their research output, and
  4. Enrich and refine their research output or learning plan by having a platform to discuss, as well as find research partners for future collaboration.

Congress Activities

The DLSU ARCHERS, with the theme “Connecting Education and Sustainability: Mobilizing SDGs in Basic Education and Research,” aims for its participants to:

  1. Paper Presentations. Become a presenter and expand your knowledge as a champion in education. Grab this opportunity for you to share your own educational and action research that will show how you actualize, localize, and contextualize the SDGs in your classroom practices or in your own leadership capacities. Engage in a dynamic and vibrant exchange of research ideas with peers, fellow scholars, educators, and instructional leaders, as we continuously propel innovations in education to address the pressing problems of the fast-paced ever-evolving world. Grow your portfolio and expand your repertoire of presentation skills. Be ready to advance your career to the next level.
  2. Learning Plans Presentations. Bring out that learning plan and become an instructional change-maker. Share your best practices on how you make magic in the classroom or in your school in realizing the SDGs. Be an inspiration to other educators in the country and together build a sustainable society.
  3. CPD Training. Upskill yourselves and gain more confidence in teaching and research. As the world becomes more interconnected and complex, the role of teachers cannot be understated. Hence, upgrade your teaching skills and ultimately become a 21st century educator who are both adept at research and innovative instruction.
  4. Mentoring and Socialization. Mingle with fellow researchers, teachers, scholars, and school leaders as you expand your professional circle. Grab this wonderful opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions and build networks with other teachers and experts from different learning institutions. Together, let us create a more collaborative and cooperative community of educators and researchers who are passionate, proactive, innovative, and action-driven.

Registration Guidelines

Before accomplishing this form, please be reminded of the following Registration Guidelines:

  1. The DLSU Archers 2023 will be held on May 25-26, 2023 with the theme of Connecting Education and Sustainability: Mobilizing SDGs in Basic Education and Research
  2. The DLSU Archers Congress will showcase research concepts, collaborations, innovations, and products of various teachers through an interactive virtual presentations. The event will be held through an ONLINE platform.
  3. REGISTRATION FEE will be collected from the participants:
    Early Bird ₱800.00
    Regular Price ₱900.00
    Presenter Price ₱650.00
    **There is a separate registration for selected presenters.


  1. Participants will receive a confirmation email once registration is VERIFIED. ONLY those whose names appear in the official registration sheet shall be considered as Registered Participants.
  2. To protect the privacy and security of participants during the virtual events, the organizers will NOT accommodate on-the-spot registration.
  3. In preparation for the training, participants shall provide the following information: complete name, email address, position, and contact number. In addition, each participant is required to submit a profile in PDF that includes the following:
    1. Academic background
    2. Work experience
    3. Job description / key result areas and responsibilities of the participant's current and/or prospective positions

Connecting Education and Sustainability: Mobilizing SDGs in Basic Education and Research May 25-26, 2023

The DLSU Archers Congress will showcase research concepts, collaborations, innovations, and products of various teachers through an interactive virtual presentations.

The First De La Salle University Annual Research Congress for High School and Elementary Teachers, Researchers, and Scholars (DLSU ARCHERS) organizers are delighted to invite you to submit an abstract for consideration. Abstracts must be submitted using the online portal by April 21, 2023. Under this year's theme, "Connecting Education and Sustainability: Mobilizing SDGs in Basic Education and Research," we invite educational or action research outputs from basic education teachers whose studies were anchored on any of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. We are also accepting innovative learning plans based on the said theme. Please take note of the following guidelines for the abstract proposal:



1. The maximum word count for an abstract proposal is 250-300.

2. The educational or action research abstract should contain a short overview of the topic's background, rationale, methodology, findings, and conclusions. A brief description of the Sustainable Development Goal’s integration must also be included.

3. For the learning plan abstract, a narrative description, including the type of activity, purpose, intended audience (including year level of learners), and the SDG targeted in the learning outcomes, is required.

4. For the presenter(s), the following information is required: complete name, highest degree attained, designation, affiliation, and email address.

5.Abstract proposals will be evaluated using a double-blind review procedure. The review will look at the clarity of content, quality, rigor, and relevance to the SDGs.
