I missed the flight. I never got on. That sucked.

Service and the plane itself were terrific, but the extensive delays both before we left and after were a real pain.

American Airlines food is horrible. Also, paid to fly JAL on all segments, but received a much lower quality. I was disappointed to learn that we would be using American Airlines on this flight, which has less comfort, entertainment, choices, and lower standard of service. Overall not satisfied.

Excellent flight. Check in experience was a breeze. Smooth and on time flight. Friendly and attentive attendants. Premium economy seating was very spacious. The lounges in both SEATAC and Narita were first rate. The only negative was the inflight food and entertainment options, which were limited, and Wi-Fi was not working. We would definitely fly JAL again.

Not good. The flight from LAX to Tokyo was delayed 15 hours.

Good legroom. Front seatback has best compartmentalization, netted pockets on sides of tv monitor for eyeglasses, water bottles etc. For Economy, best food across the Pacific. JAL doesn't skimp on quality to squeeze out more profit. No prepackaged items in plastic wrap. Cocktail service first with nibbles, Wine in your own 2 glass bottle. Later dinner service, more wine! Lastly, breakfast-lunch, more wine if you choose. Lastly, the friendliest most smiling crew across the Pacific.

The flight was delayed almost three hours because of a labor issue. During the delay, JAL staff did a poor job communicating with customers about what was happening and seemed confused about what to do.

Attentive crew, great service with regular rounds of drinks and trash collecting. Only complaint is the food, which was mediocre.

Liked the food. Needs improvement: 1) the flat bed was very hard and the set up was not at all passenger friendly 2) the announcement were impossible to understand even in English. 3) the flight information on the monitor was terrible it showed a airplane with no information like altitude, airspeed, heading. You could not zoom in or out to orient the aircraft to where you were in the flight. 4) movies were old and very limited as was the music selection.

I hope they never ran out of the menu choice one makes. They often do.
