Laura Nyro in EYE magazine May 1969 issue

Laura Nyro wrote many songs that others made famous in the late 1960s-70s. Her second album, Eli and the Thirteen Confession was a collection to be heard in order. First, I think, to include a lyrics insert and scented. Some songs probably would not be played on air, being as they are about sex and drugs, but told beautifully.
More albums followed, about her native NYC, specifically The Bronx and covers with Patti LaBelle and the Blue Bells.
