Breakfast Nook Fall Cabinet Vignettes

We spent last Sunday working out in the garage. I had multiple boxes of home decor that was still boxed up from our move...almost three years ago. In all honesty most of the boxes were filled with dinnerware that I had packed extra well so there was not all that much in each box. Neighbors walked by asking if we were getting ready for a yard sale. LOL. Nope just unpacking from the move. :)

Breakfast Nook Makeover Reveal Part 1

Today I am sharing with y'all a project that I had been dreaming of since we were building. I had all my ideas sketched out on a piece of paper to make our breakfast nook into something warm and inviting. Last October started my collection of items to make my visions come to life. I didn't actually start the make over though till February. It took me approximately 2 months before it was completely finished.

 We have been in our home for almost three years now. It is hard to believe that it has been three years! Over the last 3 years we have been working on turning our house into a home. One of the spaces that has been evolving is our foyer.

We are a week and half out from November! That means it is time to start sorting thru all the Christmas bins and deciding which trees will go where. No worries though, I have not forgotten fall. I actually have had our dining room all cozied up for fall for over a month now but I didn't want to take pictures till I had the new curtains made and hung.

I have a morning routine when I wake up and it always involves hopping on the computer for a few minutes. I head over to the news then to the weather and then I check out my favorite sites that I shop from to see if they have any good deals I am interested in. Then after that I head over to check out the local real estate site because I like to stay in the know on what the market is doing.

Over the weekend I worked some more on the master bathroom. We installed the cabinet hardware and I replaced the linen closet door knobs. I will be sharing the changes in my next post.  

Today I took a break from the bathroom makeover and I updated our fireplace mantel. The last time I swapped things around was back in January. It was time for a change.
